Defeating the Monster Rex

As it shrieked, the Monster Rex's body became larger in size and changed color from a dark green to burning red. Picking up its club, it roared as Glass and Bell jumped back.

The Monster Rex's body moved much faster than previously while its attacks hit much harder. The two were already having trouble beating it before and now the Monster Rex was much faster than before!

Obviously, the Monster Rex will be much harder to kill now that it's faster and stronger, with Bell's dagger being close to breaking, the two are in some serious trouble.

Thump! Thump!

Bell and Glass circled around the Monster Rex taking turns to chip into its body with one being the decoy and the other attacking just a moment later. This made it hard for the Monster Rex to focus on them both as they would quickly leave its attack range within a few breaths.

When the Monster Rex had gotten used to it, the two of them attacked at virtually the same time while speeding up their attacks. They were like a torrent of wind that continuously cut away at the huge Goblin.

When they grew tired, the two gathered together and faced it.

Bang!

The Monster Rex swung its huge club at Glass who was prepared, holding his sword with both hands in front of him.

As the club came before him, he waited for a few moments.

Ding!

Glass parried the huge club by aiming at an angle that would deflect the huge club slightly.

Bell dashed in front of the Monster Rex and aimed for its stomach as the Goblin swung its left arm to try and grab him.

Whoosh!

Bell dodged the arm as he jumped and jabbed forward as fast and hard as he could. His dagger wounded a small part of its stomach, though the Monster Rex didn't react at all as if it didn't feel a thing.

Glass jumped in the air and swung both horizontally and vertically as he flipped in the air creating a ball of sword waves as he fell toward the Monster Rex.

The Monster Rex swung its large club at Glass as the force from its swing created wind pressure that blew away Glass's frail body.

Taking advantage of the wind, Glass used it to allow him to move closer to the Monster Rex as he arrived at its arm and stabbed deep into its wound. The huge Goblin shook its arm furiously trying to shake him off, but Glass stayed on its arm with his sword pledged deep into the monsters' arm.

As he was shaking in the air, Bell jumped in the air and jabbed at the Monster Rex's jaw, his dagger didn't do much damage as the Monster Rex lifted its leg and kicked him away.

Bang!

Bell crashed into the cave wall spitting out a mouthful of blood. Moving his body slowly and enduring the pain, he slowly grabbed a potion from his bag and took the cap off before chugging the entire thing down.

Not caring about the taste as if it were tasteless, Bell stood back up and prepared to fight again. The Monster Rex roared as it tried to slap Glass off its arm, though it didn't dare to slap too hard in case that it would inflict further injuries to its own arm.

As he was about to get slapped, Bell jumped at its arm and stabbed into it making it roar before Bell dropped to the ground and started slicing its arm from the bottom all the way to its shoulder. Even though it didn't slice through its thick skin, his dagger still inflicted some pain as it focused its left arm on Bell even while enduring the pain on its right arm that seemed as though it would be severed soon.

Glass who was still holding tightly onto his sword pushed deeper penetrating deep into the Monster Rex's arm. Seeing that he was far enough, he began twisting his sword with all his might.

Roar! Roar!

The Monster Rex felt its arm about to be severed as it stopped paying attention to Bell and started waving its arm around at the stone pillars around it.

Bam! Bam!

Even though Glass's body was hitting into the stone pillars, he continued twisting. With each and every second, the wound became larger and a circle could be seen taking shape in the wound of the Monster Rex.

Sploosh!

After a few more seconds, Glass managed to spin his sword in 180 degrees as the Monster Rex's arm started falling to the ground. Jumping off, he moved forward as he aimed for its neck.

"Bell! Aim for its neck!" Glass shouted. Bell heard Glass' scream as the two of them aimed at the Monster Rex's neck at the same time.

Glass faced the Goblins' left side as Bell faced the right side, as Glass slashed the back of its neck with his sword with all his strength while Bell Sliced the front of its neck with his right arm. The two of them attacked in the exact same moment, giving the Monster Rex no time to attack right after losing its right arm.

Ghroa!!!!!!!

"Arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!" Bell and Glass yelled at the same time as they cut with all their might. The longer they cut, the more the flesh around the neck split allowing their weapons to dig deeper and deeper into its flesh.

"Arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrh!!!!!!!!" they continued yelling as they cut deeper and deeper. In just the timeframe of two seconds, the Monster Rex's head spun in 360 degrees continuously as Glass and Bell's weapons severed its head.

Break! Crack!

At the same time that the severed head fell, Bell's dagger shattered like glass that had fallen onto the ground, breaking into thousands and thousands of pieces.

Plop!

As its severed head dropped to the ground, so did Bell and Glass.

Huff! Huff!

After defeating the Monster Rex that had not turned into black smog yet, Bell and Glass caught their breath as they brought their wounded bodies together.

Standing in front of each other, the two stared into each others' eyes before smiling and putting out their fists to bump.

As soon as they did, their vision became dark as they briefly heard the sound of running behind them before dropping to the ground.
