Back into the Dungeon

Cling* Cling*

Bell and Glass trained together for a while to get used to their newly improved stats. Both of them moved faster than before and also had much more power than before.

At first, the two moved clumsily as Glass got used to it after a few minutes. As for Bell, it took him a while to get used to it as he took some light beatings from Glass.

Cling* Cling*

Pow!

As he sent Bell flying, Glass put his sword back in its sheath as he put his hand forward to pick up Bell.

"Seems you're fine now. Let's go tomorrow" Glass told him.

"Okay" Bell replied with a smile as he grabbed Glass' hand and pulled himself up with the help of the latter.

After their training, it was already evening and Hestia had long finished her lunch. In just another few hours would be time for dinner.

The three of them spent some time in town before getting dinner at the Hostess of Fertility, since they regularly visited the store, all of the employees knew them and welcomed them.

Heading back to sleep so that they could sleep early and prepare for tomorrow, Glass entered his room and jumped on his bed after taking off his coat and closed his eyes.

The next morning, he woke up early. As he approached Bell's door, it opened as Glass saw Bell in front of him behind the door.

"Heh, so you can wake up yourself" Glass teased.

"Hahah" Bell laughed.

Turning behind him, Bell could see Hestia still rolled up like a dumpling underneath his blanket. Shaking their heads, the two of them left the church and headed to the Dungeon.

The two of them stayed silent as they headed for the Dungeon. As always, hardly anyone outside as the sky was still dark.

When they arrived by the entrance, Bell and Glass saw a beautiful blonde-haired girl around their height wearing silver armor from head to toe. On the left of her waist was a sheathed rapier.

Looking at her, Glass thought, "So that's Ais Wallenstein the Sword Princess. She's as beautiful as the rumors had described. So she's Level 5 and holds the record for being the fastest to reach Level 2"

Ais Wallenstein was by herself as she stood in one spot as if she were waiting for someone. Bell and Glass walked by as they headed into the Dungeon. As they walked in, Bell couldn't help but turn around to look back at her before turning back to face forward.

Arriving on the First Floor, they walked by the familiar pathway they had gone by just a few days ago.

"Let's go for the Tenth Floor today" Glass said.

"The Tenth? Okay, after all our stats had increased by a lot. We could probably go even higher if you wanted to" Bell replied after thinking about it.

"Yea, we could. We could just not inform Eine that we did go that deep, after all, we had just begun Adventuring. Let's just tell her that we went to the Eighth Floor" Glass told him as Bell agreed.

As they walked, Glass noticed the presence of monsters around him. Taking out his sword, he dashed forward as Bell took out his knives and did the same.

Whoosh! Whoosh!

Their two figures flew by like lightning as they killed dozens of Goblins in just a few seconds. Before they could even cry out, the Goblins turned into black smog and dropped their Magic Stones.

Picking up the drops, the two of them continued heading to the Fifth Floor. On the way, they encountered plenty of monsters earning them a decent amount of Valis. Though there were a lot of monsters, the drops didn't give much even with the amount of Magic Stones that dropped.

As they arrived on the Fifth Floor, the walls were much greener in color. Monsters such as Killer Ants that were somewhat large in size while monsters spawned much faster starting from the Fifth to Seventh Floor.

Walking around with their weapons in hand, just after a few minutes, Glass discovered a group of Killer Ants staying together.

Taking out his spear, he threw it like a javelin as it shot through the darkness and pierced through the brain of one of the Killer Ants.

The other Killer Ants turned their backs against each other covering all sides. Glass jumped in the air and dived down in between a small gap where the ants all had their backs towards.

Before they could even react, Glass held his sword and spun a few times as his sword cut through the hard shells of the Killer Ants.

Shree!

Bell dashed in afterward and cut the necks of the Killer Ants as they cried from having their backs cut in half. In just a few moments, dozens of Magic Stones dropped on the ground.

The two picked up the drops as they headed for the next floor. On the way, they met various groups of monsters and handled them quickly. Other Adventurers with similar stats would be surprised at how effortless and efficiently they handled the monsters!

After a while, they found the stairs to the Sixth Floor and headed down.
