As soon as Ren walked into the house and ran towards the location where he sensed the second magic, he was stunned to find that the source was at a place where he did not expect,

his sister's room,

this immediately enraged him, to think that the old troll would not even spare his little sister from his pranks, he immediately opened the room but was stunned to see that there was no one in the room, and as if adding insult to the injury, the traces of the true magic was gone as well, with growing frustration, he decided to call his parents to talk to them about the issue,

but what he did not notice while leaving the room was a twitching toy near the bed of Illya,

Ruby, the great Kaleido stick created by the wizard marshal himself heaved a sigh of release as she sensed that the man had left the room,

even though it was the incarnation of the second magic and feared nothing, she still did not want to cause trouble for her new master Illya,

but even then the stick could not help but shudder at what she sensed from the 18-year-old man,

Pure arcane power, the likes of which would put even a magus from the age of gods to shame, aside from that she also sensed something dark in him, but it seems to be dormant and the boy himself seems to be unaware of it, it was very different from what she felt from Illya's other big brother, Shirou Emiya who felt like an unsheathed sword to her senses, this man felt like mana given form, pure power incarnate,

Ren was angry, no, words simply could not express the rage he was feeling at the moment, this was due to what he had heard from a certain troll a few hours ago,

according to the wizard marshal, the grail war which his parents had stopped and had caused the fuyuki fire had resulted in the barriers between dimensions to weaken, resulting in what is known as Class Cards to materialize in this universe from a parallel one,

These cards allowed the user to either use the noble phantasm of the heroic spirit they contained or helped them become the vessel for the heroic spirit itself, but what drove him mad was the agents that were apparently picked by the weapons needed for the retrieval of the artifacts,

he was running towards the location from where he was able to sense a distortion of energy which was most likely caused by the opening of a kaleidoscope portal to a mirror dimension,

as soon as he got to the location, he started to draw runes in the air with the arcane energy, this specific set of runes were the same as that of the teleportation runes he normally uses, but this one was going to be slightly different,

"Rewrite!!" he shouted as he felt his power activated, changing and enhancing the very concept and power of the runes to untold level,

the normal rules that Ren usually uses can teleport the user to anywhere in the universe provided the user knows that location, but it was still not capable of transporting the user to a different plane of reality like the mirror dimensions, thus he used his rewrite ability to enhance it's power until it was powerful enough to break into the mirror dimension where he knew Illya must be in,

with a whirling noise of the air, Ren felt himself being dragged into the mirror dimension,

the first thing he noticed was the absolutely totaled fuyuki bridge near the lake, a giant pit that seemed like someone had dropped a ballistic missile on the place, and then he felt it, his sister's presence, but he was surprised to sense a massive amount of prana coming off of her, something she never had thanks to the lock on her memories that Kiritsugu and Irisveil had created when she was just a baby,

he looked towards her current location, took in her battered state alongside a little girl whom he assumed to be Illya's friend,
