Arthur’s origin
Arthur was always an anomaly his birth was wrong, his thoughts were strange and he had memories, although fragmented, of a last life that was just as big of an anomaly. His presence was always thin and he was easily forgotten, then only exception of this was his mother Mary.
No matter how forgettable he was his mother never forgot him. She said he was like this because of her. However, Arthur never understood what she meant by that.
On his 10th birthday his life was flipped, a message saying

The young Arthur was confused by this so he went to his mother, he was completely oblivious to the fact that this was the worst possible choice he could make. Upon questioning his mother an evil smile widens across her face, "Is that so? That's excellent. Let's go to the lab."
For the next 8 years Arthur lived in a controlled environment and watched at all times. In the beginning Arthur was completely under the illusion that everything is normal. However, after a couple of years he was quickly disillusioned and began to swell with negative emotions. After 7 years Arthur began to plan an escape and during his 18th birthday he was hit with something that made him tingle with excitement.

Progressing through the windows Arthur felt a rush of excitement. He knew that he could finally escape this facility. However, he knew that today his mother would be visiting, if she happened to ask about his abilities and status he knew that lying would be impossible. Even if he wanted to hide anything she would see through his lies and force the truth out of him.
Over the course of his eighteen years in the facility he had been studying, training his body or gathering information about his surroundings. He learned quite early on that there were others like him and so one of the first things he learned was morse code and cryptography.
Everyday afternoons learning it he would tap on the air vents sending an encrypted message.

For more than three years, he had sent that message and everyday at the exact same time. Eventually he got a response and the person on the other side was a girl the same age as himself.
Her first message was to ask if telling everyone the shift number was necessary. This girl was called kris and she was a very smart person, her personality was by the book, she was always the winner in the simultaneous chess matches they had.
Kris had a twin brother called William who unlike her was quite slow and hot headed he couldn't figure out the morse code was something other than mice. It was only after his sister told him what it was that he was even aware of Arthur's existence.
Unlike Arthur who's only visitor was his mother those two were allowed to visit each other since they were aware of each other.
The fourth member of their little club was a girl named Lilith she was a complete tomboy and she would break nearly everything she could. She was a tanned, red head, it was actually crimson and she had a very tight figure that wasn't a chiseled kind of muscular but also not skin and bones. The first word that came to mind was aerodynamic which I actually muttered to her face when I met her to which she blurted out a 'Gwahahaha' kind of language.
She was actually unable to figure out the morse code like Will (William), however she made her existence known in a way that would become a typical 'Lilith move'. She ripped the vent open and crawled through to stop the noise.
Suffice to say she made herself very obvious. Everyday since then she would crawl through the vent and sat next to me to talk. At first the guards tried to stop us however they quickly gave up when Lilith began playing pranks on them as revenge.
One time in particular a guard that escorted her back to her 'room' made a coffee and they caught her throwing in a ladles worth of baking soda. So they made a new one only to find out that the coffee beans were replaced with rat shit.
The last one was someone that joined the group was a girl that only became known because she made a weapon and went around attacking the guards. She only actually attacked them because she was pissed at her mother for not visiting her for a few months.
Her name was Mina and she was a black haired girl with pale skin. Her figure was quite curvy even in her early teens and she was quite eccentric and a curious person. During her rampage she saw me mixing chemicals and decided to bust in and enlighten the blind Arthur. "ARE YOU A FOOL! CHEMISTRY IS THE PATH OF FOOLS SO YOU MUST BE ONE! EVERYONE WOULD AGREE THAT PHYSICS IS THE ONE TRUE METHOD OF CREATING!" Arthur who was completely dumbfounded and even let that show on his face said, "Physics is cool too I guess but I feel like progressing down both would allow me to gain a deeper understanding of how the world works."
"Ahem, I apologise for busting in but I just assumed you were consumed by chemistry like my mother. That witch hasn't come to see me in three months, probably because she's wrapped up in her experiments. The fool can't admit that she wasted her life fixated on chemistry." Throughout the first part of her speech she was acting shy but as soon as she mentioned her mother she became extremely furious.
Noticing the weapon in her hands Arthur could quickly understand the principles behind it. After magic was brought into the world a lot of weapons that were only theoretically possible became possible. One such weapon is the laser and in her hands is that very weapon. Seeing that Arthur was too interested in the weapon to do nothing so he went over snatched it and within a few seconds he returned it and said to her, "If you come back again I'll have something that can greatly improve that weapon you have."
"Oh and what if I don't? And why would you help me out?"
"If you don't you don't. It's merely me repaying you for giving me something interesting to think about. But if you want to compensate me then you can tell me your name right?"
"What do you mean interesting you? Are you making fun of me?" Saying that she points her laser at me.
"No, no, of course not what I'm talking about is the rampage you went on." Saying that I pointed at my monitor and on the screen was the security camera feeds.
After that a guard escorted her back to her 'room' and she shouted to Arthur "I'll be back, don't you dare break your promise."
Thinking back on old times Arthur remembers when he gave Mina the present for entertaining him. It was a chip that would strengthen the power of the laser and make sure it doesn't become lethal.
He also remembered the day they all found out why they were here and it still made him angry. On that day they figured out that they all had a number and that there must be something different about them compared to other people. It was then that Mina suggested that they were probably a mix between human and monster. Which in her words relieved her because she thought she was the only one. She was told by her mother who was way too blunt about it that 'she was part of an experiment that would see what would happen if a human-monster hybrid was born'.
He was happy about finally being able to use magic instead of having to rely on magic stones for everything. He was interrupted by another window saying.

After that a map appeared and gave a ten minute time limit before he would be transported to a location at random. Quickly he asked Kris through encrypted code that had become something nearly as easy as talking at this point, "KRIS ARE YOU THERE?"

"I DON'T HAVE MUCH TIME BUT ON YOUR EIGHTEENTH BIRTHDAY YOU WILL FIND OUT THE MONSTER YOUR PARENT USED TO MAKE YOU! HOWEVER NO MATTER WHAT CHOOSE THE UNIQUE CLASS IT GIVES YOU AND MAKE SURE TO CHOOSE THIS EXACT LOCATION AND TELL EVERYONE ELSE TO DO THE SAME. THE LOCATION IS CENTRAL SOUTH CHINA AND SPECIFICALLY WHERE GUANGZHOU USED TO BE. THE LOCATIONS WE CAN CHOOSE ARE THE MONSTER ZONES SO THIS SHOULD BE THE BEST LOCATION TO CHOOSE. MAKE SURE NOT TO TELL ANY ADULTS ESPECIALLY MY MOTHER. DON'T LIE BUT ALSO DON'T MAKE ANYTHING OBVIOUS."
After that he only had two minutes before getting transported so he grabbed some books, cloths and other supplies.
Picking up the bag he stuffed everything into he selected Guangzhou with a few seconds remaining. Taking one last look around the room he sighs and shouts. "Goodbye Mother, you may be a very cruel and manipulative woman but your my mother and I love you!" Saying this I disappeared with a flash.
