Christal's P.O.V
I was hanging out with Chae Yoo after PE class. Sohyun was bussy with stuff about her Creative Writing. She said she's gonna do some assignment at that project so she head home with the others.
"Unnie, faster! We have to meet Harold!"
Chae Yoo said as she pulled me.
"Wait, you already know him?" I asked,
my eyes big and my mouth drops.
"Duh. He's at my Science class", she said.
"Aish, ppalli!"
"You told us you only met Jung Kai!"
I exclaimed.
"He transferred to Science class because,
I don't know. I didn't ask him." She answered as she stepped in our favorite restaurant a Samgyeopsal restaurant. It was still the same restaurant. The people, I see someone I didn't expect to be here.
" Hey Chae Eun! Christal!" Harold greeted.
"Hyung, greet her."
"Hi", Merwin said, looking away.
Ugh, I hate this guy.
"Let's eat now! The pan is hot, and we have the food!" Harold said.
"Let's eat!" Chae Yoo exclaimed again. I wanna shut her up sometimes.
"Thanks for inviting us here, Harold.
The food here always tastes so good!"
"No prob." Harold said, grinning.
"Don't worry about anything. It's my treat.
I paid."
"Jinjja?" I asked as I picked a chopstick,
then I saw Merwin picking it too.
I gulped and said, "It's yours."
"No, its yours", he insisted.
"Oh-kay." I said awkwardly.
Then a long silence was heard.
"Okay. I'm gonna cook now." Harold said.
"I'll take beef." Chae Yoo said.
After Harold put in his and Chae Yoo's,
I grabbed to tong and picked a pork belly meat, and Merwin's supposed to get it,
but he let me pick it. While the meat cooks,
I get some rice and put it in my bowl.
I was to grab a lettuce when Merwin is also going to grab the exact same lettuce.
I'm getting annoyed, and I know Chae Yoo knows it, because she's giggling and whispering to Harold. I just get the leaf and put in some rice.
Again, I was to get kimchi using my chopsticks when Merwin's chopsticks almost got my pick. I shoo him away then I put it in my lettuce.
"Seems like the two of you like the exact same things", Harold said as he chomped a lettuce leaf taco with kimchi and rice and beef.
"I agree!" Chae Yoo exclaimed.
After eating, Harold holding his tummy.
I think its because he ate a lot.
"Ugh, my stomach hurts!" He groaned.
"I have to go! Hyung, don't leave her alone!"
"What the hell? Harold, come back!" Merwin almost yelled, but Harold is long gone.
Chae Yoo grabbed her phone and said,
"Ugh! What does Sohyun need my help?
I'm going unnie! Don't walk alone!"
"Chae Yoo! Aish!" So I'm alone, with Merwin.
It's so awkward, really, because none of us are talking.
It's getting dark now, so I say,
"I'm going home now. Tell Harold thanks."
"No, I can't leave a girl alone at night." he said.
"What?" I asked.
"You're riding with me, I'll take you home."
he said, and now I'm nervous. What if he kidnaps me?
We head out of the resto and Merwin got a bit angry. "What the hell? Harold had the car?"
So it's a relief for me, because we have to walk, and I don't have to worry about him taking me somewhere.
Our house is not that far. It's just two miles.
I don't know why we're walking slowly.
I tried to walk faster, but I just ate.
It was really, really, really awkward.
All I can hear are the cars, the wind, and the ground. After, like, 30 minutes, we arrived at our house. Finally!
"Uh, Merwin, thanks for taking me home."
I said to him as I climb up the porch.
"Your welcome," he said as he locked eyes with me. The next thing I knew is he just winked at me. I flushed.
"Goodbye," I said in a small voice then I go inside the house. O my gawd!
I went to my room and saw Sohyun and
Chae Yoo giggling.
"So, Sohyun, did Chae Yoo helped you in anything?" I asked.
"She's no help at all, Chrissy!" she said, giggling. "I did help you," Chae Yoo said.
"So, did Merwin bring you home?"
"He did," and I feel like I blushed when I say that. Merwin brought me home,
and he winked at me.
I lied at my bed and stared at the ceiling.
Why did he winked at me?
"Ugh, stupid guy (Merwin)," I said as I went to sleep, smiling, and shaking my head at myself.
