When shastri woke up in the morning, he still felt a slight headache. Because of his mother's teachings yesterday, which had been drilled into his head he had woke up as early as possible.

After completing the daily chores he came for breakfast. Seeing that his mother was still muttering he ate the breakfast as soon as possible.

Then he called his mother, "Can you pack me something for long travel? I am going to Varthur Circle today."

"Why? What is the reason? Did you get any other job? How much is the salary?" his mother barged in a number of questions. Shastri father also looked at him expectantly.

"No mother. Do you know other day an inspector had come requesting my help? I am just providing consulting service for his friend."

"How much is the salary?" shastri's mother asked expectantly.

"Well it is on the basis of effort done for a case. If a case requires most effort then I will ask more consultancy fees. If a case requires less effort than also I will ask more consultancy fees." Shastri said.

Both Shastri's father and mother looked at him proudly.

Shastri's mother said lovingly, "Just focus in preparing for your journey. I will make something delicious for you". Then she went to the kitchen spiritedly.

Shastri smiled looking at his mother. He knew why his mother and father were happy. His mother and father never expected much from him. Now they only wanted him to be in a good and stable job, so they could brag about him.

But when shastri came resigning the job, they were quite furious. It was not the question of money or position but it was the question of respect. His mother had lost the ability to brag with her sisters and his father had lost the ability to brag with his friends. Now they had regained it again.

After packing the bag shastri called Praveen, the varthur circle inspector.

"Hello, I am shastri speaking here."

"Oh my God! Am I speaking to the legendary 'Garuda'?" came a voice, sounding very excited.

"No, I am sure you are speaking to a consultant called Vaidyantha Shastri."

"Oh, Sorry Sir." Praveen's voice sounded quite flustered.

"It's ok. The thing is that I am coming to varthur today for assisting you."

"Then whether my traveling expenses will be reimbursed to me?"

"Yes sir. I will book a ticket for you right now."

"Ok" said shastri smiling" There is another thing. Prepare all the reports corresponding to the case. I will have to go through it. And….where was her mobile signal last reported?"

"Well Sir. Her mobile was found in the grass near the bus-stand a day after she went missing"

"Did we get any details from the mobile? Like who was the last person she called?"

"No Sir. Infact when we found the mobile it was broken in pieces. I think it had smashed a rock."

"Hmmm….this is interesting" Shastri thought.

"Sir, any other information you require?"

"Presently, I have clarified some doubts. Once I come over and check the files I think we may have more clarity of the situation."

"Yes.Sir." Praveen said sounding happy.

"Oh please make arrangements for my boarding and lodging. If there is any other requirements I will call you back."

Shastri disconnected the call. Praveen was confused. He quickly called Viraj.

"Inspector Viraj speaking"

"Hi Viraj. I am Praveen speaking."

"Hi" Viraj was surprised." What is the issue?"

"Well, I think some fake shastri had called me." Praveen said.

Viraj was bewildered. He asked Praveen "How did you come to that conclusion?"

"Rather than talking to the former police inspector, I got the impression of the corporate director scolding to his subordinate regarding branch issues"

Viraj let out a sigh of relief.

"Well I agree he is bit cranky….you may add miser also. But his brain is as sharp as ever. He helped me solve the accident case here in two days."

"Ok. I believe in you. I will hang up now. I have to book tickets for Shastri sir." Praveen said. Then he disconnected.

"Oh no. I forgot to talk about Shastri Sir's consultancy fees!!!" Viraj screamed loudly.
