i never really thought that things would end this way. i expected to live until old age, passing away peacefully in my bed. or maybe even getting murdered in some random alleyway because i made a pretty shitty decision.
getting into a train crash was something i would have never seen coming.
to my surprise, it wasn't that painful. in fact, i felt rather sleepy. you know, they say that before death, one would see their life flash before their eyes. i didn't see my entire life. what was there to see? nothing. maybe it was better i died. at least i won't disappoint anyone anymore. my eyes were getting heavy...
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"...we...off..."
my eyes refused to open, voices faded in and out from my consciousness. what? what were they saying?
"..has...fair..."
what? i can't understand...
"..do...accept...this?"
accept? accept what? my death? death has been so prevalent in my life, i was wondering when it would come for me. everyone has been taken, i was the only one left. what else was there to live for?
weakly, i answered, "..y-yes..."
"...Very well."
a fog filled my mind, making everything unclear once more. is this it? will i see them again?
light flooded through my closed eyes, my mind filled with fog, and i knew no more.
