Half an hour ago right before Daniel became unconscious, Melaria, Selaine, and Renia were watching intensively at the hologram screen.

While they were maintaining their fiery gazes, the doctor and all of the nurses were sweating and trembling uncontrollably.

The aura that the ladies emitted subconsciously was nothing to scoff at. Thus, they knew they were not allowed to make a single mistake.

If they did, then none of them would walk out of here alive and their heads would be smashed, and no one would bat an eye at it.

On the other hand, the three trios were praying hard in their hearts.

They begged any divine entities they could think of or remember because no matter how they mellow Daniel's heart that there's nothing wrong with not gaining an ability, ultimately, they wouldn't wish to watch his heart broken into pieces.

In the end, although all of them have their sense of selfish desire, they couldn't bear to see him tattered with sadness, and neither could they watch him trove himself any longer.

What they wish and hope is much simpler yet dangerous for Daniel to fulfill...but would he even agree to it?

Or in the first place, does he realize that their affection and love are abnormal or did he choose to ignore it?

Perhaps Daniel's image of them is so great that he wouldn't believe they had the same love as him, and he wouldn't dare to reveal his secret.

The chances of any human awakening with ability are up to only 50% and this includes all of the technologies and chemicals used to increase the chance as high as it can.

However, no matter how progressive the method of awakening developed, it can't escape the frights of accidents.

It's not possible to escape unscathed or avoid the chances of accidents, and this is due to the fact of forcibly awakening and shocking the domain genes inside humans which might incur negative effects such as Mana Berserk.

The concept of a gene is deeper than the bottom of the ocean, and giving a shock towards it for the sake of awakening is the same concept as getting into an accident and reincarnated into another world.

Furthermore, scientists have proved that the purpose of shocking genes is to unlock their chains for the sake of absorbing Mana, an energy that is said to spread through the cosmos and where all energy derives from.

With that being said, once the gene has accepted the embrace of mana, it will be developed like a cocoon and will be reborn as something that's called either Awakening Trait or Simply Trait.

However, if the cocoon is shattered or broken, this will cause Mana Berserk which always happens whenever the procedure has been executed.

Mana Berserk comes in many forms. Such examples would be those that turned into puddles of water, turning into deformed versions of themselves, low eq or simply vanishing into energies.

Having said that, even though technological advancement couldn't increase the chance of awakening, it could at least prevent these accidents from happening, and the chances of it happening are close to zero.

In conclusion, anyone should be prepared for any accident if they wish to awaken.

And the doctor's worst nightmare came true.

Never would they imagine that an unknown factor has rendered Daniel in an unconscious state.

The process and the situation before were going smoothly and progressing within the bar of their expectation.

Nonetheless, a mishap happens that brings each of them into turmoil. The moment Daniel falls unconscious, all of them panic.

"U-Ummm Doctor Kael, something is happening outside of our expectations...Daniel has fallen unconscious which is not supposed to happen"

One of the nurses that are in charge of operating the process through the hologram said while sounding scared.

"What!? What just happened!? How can this happen!? Quickly find the cause!?" The Doctor went nearer to the main controls of the holograms with sweat all over his body.

He noticed the situation and he began to fear. His heart pulsated rapidly while at the same time, trying to find the cause in desperation because he could feel the murderous gazes and aura from his back.

Shivers traveled down his spine and never would he picture that one day, he would feel the outcome of death near his doorstep.

He has earned and is considered an elderly who has lived for more than 100 years.

Having said that, for someone like him who has gone through uncountable hardships and trials, his legs were shivering from their intent.

Inside his mind, some questions needed to be answered, but, if he can't find them, then, who else can do so?

Being one of the top executives operations of Awakeners, this is the first time that he's experienced an odd situation like this and the reason is, that no one should be unconscious inside the capsule.

One of the requirements to undergo the process of awakening is to be conscious at all times.

Hence, the chemical fluid injection helps him not only to activate his potential but also as a drug to keep him awake.

Furthermore, the lights of the capsule contain special effects which are signal waves that travel to his brain to let him be awake.

Thus, there's no reason for him to be unconscious...unless...an accident is about to happen.

Realizing this speculation, the doctor began to panic and his eyes were clouded with the uncertainty of whether he could solve it in time before any unforeseen accident happened.

He has confidence that all of the equipment and the injections he injected were one of the measures to prevent accidents from happening, but now, his worst dream has come true.
