Jack/joker: "you can't be walking these woods Amelia... those hunters- those hunters will kill every last one of us. We have a price over our heads and now that there are more and more hunters roaming these woods every day, we have to take refuge and get away... will you come with me?"

...

Amelia hesitates at his question, taking a long pause to thinking of an answer.

Amelia: "why should I go with you? What if they find us both? Why should I trust you?" Her gaze switches over to him, speaking with confidence.

Jack/joker: "I just saved us both from being killed... like five minutes ago! Why are you being stubborn about a life or death situation anyway?"

Amelia: "I can argue however I wish and please to, thank you very much," she crosses her arms and turns away from him with sass.

Jack/joker: he runs his hands down his face," look woman, neither of us wanna die, so yes or no?"

Amelia: "... fine," she turns back towards him, "but only one condition, no flirting or any of the lovey dovey stuff, got it?"

Jack/joker: alright, alright," his hands shoot up in defense.

She smirks like she has won a two year argument between a married couple. Jack leads the way to an iron door hidden behind thick vines and thorns.

Jack/joker: "humans will die from these thorns, we are immune so they hurt like a splinter, so be careful," he looks at her with a caring gaze and lets her in first.

As Amelia enters through the door and down a short hall, a cave with the most high dollar decor, awaits her. A large chandelier hangs in the middle of the cave and gives off a soft, almost romantic, light. Jack walks in behind her, telling her to get comfortable.

Jack/joker: "I'll show you your room in a few, I think you should just get comfortable. Bad storms are to be coming in soon after dark. That's about an hour or so," he sits across from Amelia in a cushioned chair.

Amelia: "thank you... Jack. I'll be honest with you, I didn't think I would be living right now if it weren't for you," she stays quiet leaving a pause in the air.

Jack/joker: "ah, don't worry about it. We gotta look after each other."

Amelia's eyes fell to the floor as she began to sadden. Jack looked at her and stood up. He would then kneel down in front of her and held her face in his hands.

Jack/joker: " hey, hey, hey, don't. Please don't..."

Her body trembled as she began to cry. Her tears would run down her face and over his hands. Jack took his finger and wiped them away. He stood and sat on the couch next to her, pulling her into an embrace of comfort.

Jack/joker: "Amelia, what's wrong," he holds onto her.

Amelia: she shakes her head no,"I... storms-" she squeezes her eyes closed.

Jack/joker: "are you scared of storms?"

Amelia: she nods and buries her face into his chest.

Jack/joker: "oh, Amelia..." he held onto her like she was his life.

Lifting her up into a princess carry, he takes her to his room. Jack would lay her down on his bed, letting her move as she wishes to get comfortable. He would lay next to her, leaving space so it wouldn't be weird. He'd pull a blanket over her and as he did this, Amelia moved closer to him for comfort.

Jack/joker: "a-are you ok with this?" He blushed a bit and waited for an answer before he laid his arm around her.

She nodded, giving Jack the ok to hold her. With Amelia in his arms, they laid there chest to chest while it began to storm. The cave made the storm quieter and Amelia's body went into slumber. Jack let out a sigh and decided to stay up all night.
