The thing that I saw after using the game device and dive in into the game is the dark place with the bigger screen, written that sentence.

I taking my time thinking a good name. Simple but not lame at all. Hmm... Yggdrasil huh.. Tree of Life game huh.... Hmm.....
"Register me as Life...." I said it with confident. Actually I want to register as the name of the Living Tree that always quote, "I am something something" but I guess Life is okay.

Even though you want to act cute, I can't hear your voice at all as the sentence just appearing in the screen in front me.

I already read the book about the character race choices and all of the kind have its own special trait. Like Human, they got all average stat. The Elf higher in magic but lower in strength. The dwarf higher in strength but lack in agility. While were-beast excel on agility but less on magic. I decide to choose human because of their average stat.

I also read the game rules, and the death penalty here quite painful. As I waiting to enter the game, the flash back about the story line of the game appear in front me.
[After the death of the Demon King, the world that called Valhalla finally achieve the peace that they sought with the help of the heroes gathered form four kingdom that still exist. But the peace that restored by supreme heroes doesn't remain that long as suddenly, the mightiest hero, from human race, ascending the throne of the Demon King and become their new ruler. He begin his conquest to rule the world and bringing terror to the world. In order to stop him, the hero old companions and the brave knights fight him in the death march, causing him a grave injuries, but with cost of the live of his opponents. Most warrior that face him died in action and only few manage to return.
So the four kingdom that still exist, the human (Asgard), the Elf (Ishtar), the dwarf (Mistletoe) and the were-beast (Ragnarok) have open the portal and connected to our world using the Yggdrasil systems. Yes, you are the hero that come from our beloved Earth to face the Demon King. The prophesy of the great sage have predicted that the new Demon King will come back for revenge after healed his injuries within two years.
Don't worry our hero, even though you already an old hag, we will given you a new body, a 18 years old teenage healthy body in that world...]

After the stupid line of the introduction story ended, I appear in the forest, as the announcer spoken off. I want to retort that supreme hero who become a demon king, but I guess it's useless after all. I can see some player appear and started to leave the forest hastily.
[Welcome hero. For the starter, there is no such thing as leveling. You can make your status higher by mastering the skill that you learn. After you enter the town of beginner, you will given the starter skill of your choice. After that you must learn other skill by yourself.]
Hmm... No leveling, learning the skill and master it for your stat.

I walk to the grass field on my side and saw plenty of slime-like monster there.

I started to punch and kick the cute monsters without any mercy. I keep punch and kick but none of skill have appear or been announce on my interface status. By the way, this is my status.

While kicking and punching those little monsters, I aware that some of players doing it too as well, but not for long time like me. As an old man without any marriage experience, my patient quite high and I keep doing that until one hour. I take my breath first in few minutes before started back kicking and punching those monsters.
"Die for my own sake, hahaha..." Well, it's sound dangerous, but I just joking around. After one hour doing this, finally an announcement appear on my log status.

I continued to kick and punch the Jelly Beast until afternoon. I rest for awhile and log out from the game. I having the meal that I choose earlier in the morning that already prepared in my dining table. Then, I continued grinding leveling my skill mastery by killing those Jelly beast. I keep focusing on killing and even unaware about time past by. When I take came back and stopped for a break, the sky already became darker. I think is better to me to stay on the beginner town but before I enter the place, a warning comes out from my screen.
