15 - The first heroin that met the old man
My name is Lilith in this game. That name is my mother IG name when she play online games. She is quite an avid gamer, mostly those MMORPG one. My mother married with my father in political wedding, not a bit love on that. But still, my father spoiled her and let her waste her time in gaming. My father having sexual engagement in order to get heir. My mother have to AFK and done those deeds before playing back the game. Even before given birth to me and my brother, she still have time to do gaming stuff. Her gaming addicted is out of the world.
After me and my old brother born, she ask my father to use protection or look for other mistress. My father just agreed to her request, as he also busy handling the business. I and my older brother were raise by the our housemaids. She only give us her boob milks every time she take the break from the game.
But, I never hate her. She actually love us by her way. Well, she also want to drag us to become her gaming buddy, but our father put the stop on that. One day, she told me about surprising news. She told me that she have register my name as the investor in one suspicious company that created her dream game, the VRMMORPG type. She have funded the money to the company monthly without fail and register my name as the funder. That happen before she given birth to me. She can't register my brother name as he is the heir of my family.
I heard those kind of game doesn't exist in reality but only in animes or light novels, but she insist that her dream game finally come truth. Yes, her dream actually been achieved but she already gone from this world. In her burial ceremony, I can see my father cried, in the first time in my life. Then, the invitation arrived and send to me, as the receiver. I remember the moment when my mother died and finally decide to follow her legacy. Then, I quit my job and prepare for her last wish, joining her dream as her daughter.
I don't know why, but this is paradise. The unknown island that we taken to is definitely a heaven. Firstly, no work, only playing game. The second one, all of the things here is free of charge. The participants here got free accommodation, food, clothes and the device to play the game. Its look like lots of them, I mean almost all of them a eldest. I use my mouth mask to cover my face so I don't feel left out from those participants.
After done registering and check in into my room, I begun to read to the instructions and FAQ before diving into the virtual world. I used my mother favorite IG name and begin my first adventure. The starting point of game is the Tutorial Forest. I don't waste my time and enter the Beginner Town. I pick my weapon, the Hammer and register at the Guild. Its seem that the participant that choose the human are so few, but I didn't care less.
I went to the beginner forest and met the lowest ranked, H-ranked weird creature, a Gogreen. I thought that the lowest ranked monster in the guild list is weak one but I finally realize that I make big mistake. I died. The monster evade my smash skill and slash me with its sword. The end...
Nope, for those player have died, must wait 24 hours before diving back into the game. So, I login into the game forum and learned that those lowest ranked monsters are not easy prey. The player advised to enter the academy first to learn the skill and gone for training course.
In second time, after reviving, I choose sword and ready to get my revenge. It seem that after we died in this game, we lost all the item and the skill that we earned. I doesn't wait much longer and try to fight those creature again. Well, I died for the second time.
My third attempt is to find some comrades but the new player without the experience is like a bug for them. I pick the bow, and tried to kill that bastard monster, but even in the long distance, the monster still detect me and have me killed.
The fourth time, I met a weird fellow named Life. He guide me to continued my journey in this game without caring me as the newbie player. He also claims that he died after fighting those monster, but he quite ignorance about few things in the Beginner Town. He pick the hammer, just like me in the first time. He actually asked me to enter the academy, as to learn skill. By the way, I'm picking Staff, the weapon that used by magician. I also pick Ice Magic as my main element.
In the next day after having our rest in the town, we hunt in afternoon, after the my study period ended. I went to the Guild to register again and pick the quest. We started our hunt that I thought much difficulty but it's look easy than I imagine. In a week, I gained new magic as my basic magic, Ice Arrow already maxed up, thanks to Life.
More than that, I receive an offer from my academy. The news is a good one, but the bad thing is I have to separate with Life because of that. So, after school, I directly go to the church where Life working as part-timer. I met a moody sister that shown unwelcome face after I mention about Life. She enter inside the church, before Life appear not long after that.
"Ah, what a pleasant surprise to see you here, Lilith." He smile at me, make me feel bad to tell him about my news.
"Yes. Same here... The pleasure is mine...." I become nervous.
"Are you okay?"
"I'm sorry Life..."
"Sorry? About what?"
"We can't do the adventure together for a month..."
"Why? It is about your school?"
"Yes... Because I manage to max my skill level and gain new skill, two on that. I will attend the High Academy in the capital city of human nation. I will send there about 3 weeks and sitting for the special exam. If I succeed in the examination, I will be granted as a title 'special adventurer' and will receive rank A card...."
"Congratulation Lilith.... Go for it. I will always pray for your success..."
"Even I can't cope up there, I still get some benefit like learning new skill and reached the human capital city for my first time. It all thanks to you Life..."
"No problem, just go..." He really sound happy to me, so I thankful for that.
"Thanks again, Life. I will depart tomorrow so today I will busy packing my things. So, just rest today Life and have fun. See you, Life...."
And so, I begin my one month journey without Life, and I really miss him.
