CHAPTER 5: FIRST DAY IN NEW SCHOOL

JARON

After eating breakfast in Cadence's house, I thanked her for the delicious meal. She really knows how to feed human being. It never fails me to impress.

Walking out from her house, I rushed to my house and grabbed my things for my first day in my new school.

I passed by in front of Cadence's house and waved, winked and smiled at her. She just smiled at me and rolling her eyes again before shaking her head.

When I arrived in school parking lot. I stayed there for a while waiting for her to arrive. I do not know what it got into me but I really waited. It was not long when I saw her car coming and parking two cars after me.

She was simple without anything in her face just some face powder and lip gloss. Just like I saw her this morning. Her attire in school was also simple that you can see she is not the type of person who will show her bare skin to everyone.

She is just a typical ordinary student that does not like attention. She was smiling towards the two girls were also waving at her. She was different from her friends as I can see. Her friends were like an It girls. But to her appearance was just simple girl with special beauty in my eyes. A girl that you can say that …

'What was I thinking again about Cadence? What is wrong with me since I saw that girl?'

I snapped my mind to let it go away when I saw them walking far away. I guess I have to get going too since I am new here. And still heading to the administrator office for my schedules.

I came in just in time. "Excuse, I am the new student Jaron Davies. I am here for my classes schedules."

"Oh, yeah! Wait a moment." She said, leaving me for a while. She was looking for my name in a printed paper and went back at me. "Here you go, Mr. Davies." Handed me the paper. "You will not get lost with the rooms because it is indicated in there. The first digit is the floor. By the way, Ms. Rose will send you off to your first class. After that you have to do it on your own." She called someone.

"Okay, thank you and have a nice day." I said, giving her my sweet appreciation. She smiled and nodded. They were not bad at all. It is so nice to know they were very accommodating. I think I am going to love it here.

It never took long when I got my classes schedule. But I did not expect on my first subject I was belong with the same class of Cadence. This is going to be fun because I saw her again and rolled her eyes on me.

Well, wait for my punishment later, princess. I grinned still looking at her. I told her not to roll her eyes on me.

After introducing me by Ms. Lily she left. I walked towards Cadence. When I saw that her behind has vacant seat. I never miss it. I love teasing her.

I pinched her cheek which gave her blushed as her friends were shocked. She looks mad at me as she turned her head from behind as I sat down, grinning. I even playing with the tip of her pony tailed hair.

The lessons were practically easy since I took that from my previous school. I look at Cadence's back made me think of another prank on her. The whole period of this subject discussion I got bored. I leaned a little bit and trailed my hand to her back.

She jumped then makes a noise that our teacher caught up her attention.

"Holy…" She groaned loudly.

"Yes, Ms. Thomas?" Our English teacher Ms. Rose asked.

"Nothing Ms. Rose." She apologized and turned her head on me then glared at me. I heard her friends asked what is wrong with her. She replied them that she was fine just a little bit chilled. She glared back at me again.

I looked at her with innocent looks that makes her angrier. I laughed silently that she could hear.

When the bell rang, I stood up but pinched her cheek and spoke. "See you around princess."

"I hope not." She slapped my hand and groaned angrier as I walked out of the room. Even if I did not turn back to look at her. I can imagine her face looks like. I smiled as I walked towards my next subject.

I was sitting at the last row. It was vacant when I entered. None of them were my classmates from my first subject. A guy approached me.

"Hey, are you new here?" He said in a friendly voice.

"Yeah!" I replied, simply.

"I'm Tony, by the way." He smiled. "You can hang out with us." He added.

He seems like a nice guy. He introduced me to his other friends. We even compared my schedules too. We are going to be classmates in morning sessions. The rest of the afternoon I have an early dismissal while they still have some classes to attend. When I think earlier that this school isn't that bad. Then now, it really isn't.

Tony gave me his notes for the previous topics. I just scanned it thru my eyes. Well, it was already taken some of it with my previous school.

You might wonder why I transferred to this school. First and foremost, my mother wants me to be independent. She thinks that I was just too free with my life. Servants everywhere in our family house. That I did only sleeping, eating, gaming and go out a lot. She wants me to stand on my own feet to survive.

They did that to my other siblings too once we reached 18. I was just too stubborn not to leave the house. I can't cook and do not like to clean my own space. But now it is different. I have to do it on my own.
