CHAPTER 43: PRECIOUS MOMENTS ARE RARE

CADENCE P.O.V

I called my children and they walked towards us. They were well behaving manner as they meet my parents again and Jaron's parents too.

Jaron walked towards them. Guiding them towards our parents. His father's eyes were twinkling as they saw them in front of him. I saw little tears in his eyes as he was holding Jaxon then Cady.

I was thinking that their most favorite among their children is Jaron maybe because he is the youngest. I was glad that everything was just natural and did not expect that my mother and his mother were best of friends. I was the only one who did not meet them other than in the company. Of course, it was one time gathering. We were not really giving the chance to talk personally. I know they were working in JD Global too.

"Dad, Mom, these two are my kids. Your grandchildren from me." He said, grinning. "Jaxon and Cady. Say hello to granddad and grand mom." Jaron told our kids.

"Hello, granddad, grand mom." They said it together.

They gave them each hug and kisses too. Even my parents, they went for it.

"Oh my! You two are so big and well manner too. I am gladly and proud of you Cadence what you made them like this. Even Jaron was out of their lives few years back." His mother said.

My mom smiled at me as I looked at her. She knew I am happy right now.

After meeting and seeing the kids, we headed to the table where the foods are waiting for us.

"Jaron, why don't you call Clarisse and the kids while we are still here?" His mom suggested. "I miss them. It has been a while since I saw them."

Jaron nodded as he took out his phone from his pocket. The kids went to the pool and eat later. I let their nannies look after them.

While the adults were planning about the wedding. Corrections about that, our mothers actually while the gentlemen were busy discuss other stuffs. They know that this is not their thing only their wives were more expert.

"So, when would be the wedding date? You have decided already?" His mother asked both of us.

"I let Cadence decide the date but I wanted it next month." Jaron answered while looking at me. "We want it simple just some close friends and family only. We already discussing it and both agree."

"Since you decided it to be simple then we will help you." My mother agreed.

"Tell us, where you two would want to hold the venue anyway?" His mother asked again.

My mom smiled at me as I looked at her. She knew I am happy right now.

"Jaron and I decided to be holding the ceremony here in the manor. Since it is spacious and the children could play and swim too just a little bonding moment for us." I smiled while Jaron reaching my hands.

"I like the ideas you got there. It is quite unique and solemn then having fun after." His mother and my mother were so excited with our proposals.

We continued chatting stuffs about weddings, Jaron chatted with the fathers. Moments later, the voices of the kids were heard. Clarisse's children were arrived. Clarisse approached us, smiling.

"Wow! Finally, both the parents are here." She said as she kissed both cheeks with me, my mom and Jaron's mom as a greeting. "I cannot wait for the wedding bells." She added as she walked towards Jaron, my father and her uncle. She kissed cheek to cheek too.

Her children did the same with her and to their elders too.

She went back to us. She sat beside her aunt.

"Yes, finally! Your favorite cousin is going to tie the knots." Mrs. Davies rolled her eyes. Clarisse laughed.

"Yeah, I was not expecting about them either." She replied. "It was really destiny."

My kids were enjoying their time with their cousins. My heart was overwhelmed with the outcome of the gathering. I could not ask for more but the harmony of my family. I could not wait to marry him in front of our love ones.

I looked at Jaron who's now joining with the kids in the pool while our parents were still here chatting. I walked towards them and sat at the edge taking videos and picture of them.

Clarisse joined me. I really enjoy being with them when we got the chance to have spent our children. I know that every day they are getting older in due time. They are growing up so fast in just blink in our eyes.

I will do my best to have time with them as much as possible because in this lifetime precious moments are rare.
