The Mouse's Demise

Nigh Qaz was simply astounded at the fact that there was a Divine level Art hiding so close to Sea Breeze Town. Sun Tian was very excited to have this Art and was even more excited to finally find out the tier of his Ice Martial Soul.

"Sun Tian stop cultivating for a second," Poy Xew stated while grabbing something from the bottom of the bed.

In the hand of Poy Xew was a yellow bottle that was ever slightly clear.

"In this bottle is a pill that will help you quickly move through Body Refining while keeping your foundation stable. Always remember don't move too quickly through the stages and keep your foundation stable."

"Obviously," Sun Tian said while being handed the pill.

Sun Tian took a deep breath before he popped the pill in his mouth. As the pill landed in his mouth he felt it start to melt and a powerful force started to drive through his body. He noticed that his body was quickly getting more powerful. After an hour he noticed that he had already had hit the Sixth Stage of the Body Refining. After another hour he was at the Ninth Stage of Body Refining and he noticed that his bones were crystal white. This was simply incredible as the average person would have splotches of white. It was very difficult to have a perfect Body Refining rank. The payout of having a perfect Body Refining was huge though as someone who had done it perfectly could break the arm of another Ninth Stage Body Refining cultivator in a frontal collision.

"What was that pill?" Sun Tian asked still a little amazed.

"That was something I found in the cave that I got the 81 Cycles Yin-Yang Art from. Even I don't know the name of that pill," Poy Xew replied.

"Although I didn't expect you to go all the way to the Ninth Stage," Poy Xew continued

Sun Tian had a satisfied smile on his face as he clenched his fist. He felt the power in his arms and was extremely excited. He felt that nothing could stop him.

"Sun Tian I don't me to ruin your mood but the Purple Lightning Mouse is still outside." Nigh Qaz said.

"That's fine, I get to try out my new cultivation and get a feel for my strength," Sun Tian said with a smile on his face.

Nigh Qaz was dumbstruck.

"You, a Body Refining cultivator, want to fight a Stage 1 Violent Beast?" Nigh Qaz said, "That is simply suicide!"

"Maybe not," Sun Tian said without explaining any further.

"Boy, don't forget about my request," Poy Xew said with a chuckle while watching their antics.

"Don't worry senior, You have helped me a lot so I how could I be ungrateful and forget," Sun Tian while giving Poy Xew a bow.

"Then I will be waiting here for when you bring the news," Poy Xew said as he disappeared.

"Alright, Nigh Qaz, let's go say hi to the mouse." Sun Tian said with a smile on his face.

Nigh Qaz and Sun Tian reached the top of the staircase and looked at the broken down entrance. Sun Tian gave a simple punch towards the entrance and watch as it shattered.

Nigh Qaz was confused so she asked, "Sun Tian why didn't the Purple Lightning Mouse just break down the entrance like you just did."

"There are two reasons why. The first one is that it's only a Violent Beast so it doesn't have any intelligence at all and the second is that the Purple Lightning Mouse isn't known for its strength so it couldn't destroy all of the rocks," Sun Tian replied.

Nigh Qaz nodded her as she suddenly understood. Sun Tian stepped out of the cave and took a breath of fresh air. He smiled as a cat-sized blob appeared in front of him. Sun Tian punched towards it causing a loud crack sound to ring out as the bones in the Purple Lightning Mouse snapped. The mouse let out a whimper as it felt the agony of having its bones broke. Nigh Qaz looked amazed as she saw this.

"Sun Tian doesn't this mean you can kill a Soul Manifestation rank cultivator?" Nigh Qaz asked.

"Absolutely not because they have intelligence, are better at controlling their strength, and are capable of using Martial Skills." Sun Tian said in reply.

Nigh Qaz nodded her head as they walked over to the corpse of the Purple Lightning Mouse. Sun Tian cut open the forehead of the Purple Lightning Mouse to collect a soul stone. A soul stone is what beasts condense at the second rank and alchemists can use them to make a Soul Helping Pill. The Soul Helping Pill can help any cultivator breakthrough to the Soul Manifestation rank.

"I didn't expect you to be so powerful after cultivating that art," Nigh Qaz said with a sigh.

"I didn't either," Sun Tian said with an excited look in his eyes.

As they suddenly heard a loud banging sound from their southeast. They looked at each and then dashed towards the direction the sound came from. As they arrived they found the Sun and Nigh families fighting a beast at the same level of the Purple Lightning Mouse. Sun Tian dashed out towards the beast as it charged towards the Sun family's young generation. His fist slammed into the beast causing it to fly into a tree.

"Everyone back up!" Sun Tian yelled.

Nigh Qaz moved towards Sun Tian astonishing everyone besides Sun Tian.

"Sun Tian are you confident in killing it?"

"Yes, so you can go back and check on your family's injuries."

Nigh Qaz backed up and noticed that some of the Nigh family members were missing. The Sun family members were astonished at seeing Sun Tian beat back a Violent Beast so easily.

"Come get me you dumb beast," Sun Tian said tauntingly.

The various people watching could see the beast get angrier as it charged towards Sun Tian. Sun Tian dashed forward and slid against the ground to get under the beast. Once he got under the beast he smashed his fist into the beast's gut. The beast flew into the air and spit blood clearly injured. Sun Tian stood up and stared at the beast struggling to move. Sun Tian moved over to the beast and kicked it in the neck, snapping its neck.

Sun Tian turned around and smiled at the Sun Zai and the rest of them.

"Did you miss me?"
