Chapter 15: Movement.

Alphonse and Sarah walked around the market, looking from shop to shop and from stall to stall until they found all of the weapons necessary. A knife, dagger, and sword.

"Alright, after that, plus the amount we have set aside for the boots, we have 14,750 cowry left." Sarah said. "Plus, we still have a while..." Sarah said as she got lost in thought. Suddenly, she became super excited. "Alphonse... Erm..." Sarah paused as she became nervous. She took a deep breath. "Alphonse, will you, um... Will you... Gooutwithme?" Sarah asked as she mixed her words together.

Alphonse's expression became shocked as he rubbed his ears. "I'm sorry, I think I misheard you, please say that again, but slower." Alphonse said. Sarah became nervous as she blushed.

"Well, um... W-will you... Go on a date with me?" Sarah asked nervously. "I-if you don't want to that's fine, I mean I can understand. Afterallwitheverythinggoingon, plusallofwhathappened, itmu-" Sarah began to run her words together when suddenly Alphonse's answer came.

"Sure. But I don't really know how I feel about you yet." Alphonse said.

{Oh, that was unexpected.} Prism said.

'Shut it. It's not like I don't like her. I just don't know how far those feelings go.' Alphonse responded to Prism.

{Alphonse.} Prism took a serious tone. {I want you to be careful. Not just for yourself, but for her. She's much more emotional than you are, so be careful and be mindful of her.} Prism said seriously.

'R-right.' Alphonse responded.

"R-really? Like, for realsies?" Sarah asked. Alphonse hesitated before nodding. Sarah's expression became one of pure joy. "Okay, let's go, I have a few ideas." Sarah said as she leads the way.

... (Maybe the date will be shown in a filler, as for now, it is a mystery.)

Sarah walked into the blacksmith shop with Alphonse. "Ah, I'm almost done." The blacksmith yelled from the back of the shop. Alphonse and Sarah walked over and sat while they waited. Sarah happily swayed from side to side, clearly filled to the brim with energy.

"Hey, Alphonse, I want to get your thoughts so I can improve future dates." Sarah said.

"It was enjoyable. It was nice seeing you so excited. I'd say that so long as you enjoy it, I'm fine." Alphonse said.

"Hmm, well, I don't want to be the only one enjoying myself." Sarah said.

"Okay, um... how about we go to less crowded areas perhaps?" Alphonse said in a questioning manner.

"Fewer people got it. Anything else?" Sarah asked.

"Not that comes to mind immediately." Alphonse said.

"Well, something seems different about you two." The blacksmith said as he entered.

"A bit. Do you have them done?" Sarah asked as she stood up. He nodded as he showed them. Sarah grabbed a small sack of cowry and gave it to him.

"Thanks for the business." He said. Sarah nodded with a smile.

"Alright, let's go." Alphonse said as he stood.

"Alright!" Sarah exclaimed.

...

"You know, I kind of forgot the convincing part of convincing the mission house." Alphonse said as they arrived at the mission house.

"Huh, usually that would be me forgetting." Sarah said. "Welp, let's go in." Sarah said as she walked into the mission house. They walked up to the desk. "We're planning on entering the inner sect disciple test, will you allow us to take on missions hunting monsters to practice for the second portion?" Sarah asked. The receptionist thought for a moment.

"Yes. However, you will only get half of the reward as a practice fee." He said.

"We want three fourths." Alphonse said.

"Wait, what's going on, I was about to accept." Sarah whispered to Alphonse. Alphonse sighed.

"He's clearly breaking some rule and wants profit, we also want profit, so let's negotiate." Alphonse explained.

"Oh, that makes sense." Sarah said.

"You done whispering?" The receptionist asked.

"Ah, sorry, yeah." Sarah responded.

"Alright, well, let's go with you guys get 55%." The receptionist offered.

"Seventy." Alphonse said blandly, not expressing any want toward this goal.

"Sixty." He responded.

"Two-thirds." Alphonse said.

"Alright, fine." The receptionist said as he pointed to the request board.

"See? Simple." Alphonse said to Sarah as he walked towards the board.

"I can really take notes from you." Sarah said.

"As I can from you." Alphonse mumbled.

"what was that?" Sarah asked.

"Ah, just thinking aloud." Alphonse said.

"You do that a lot, I don't know why I still ask." Sarah stated as she thought more deeply about it.

"Well, anyway, what about this request?" Alphonse asked as he pointed to a request to hunt Bifang Niao, a fiery bird often correlated to fiery disasters.

"I guess we might be able to take it on, though it would be difficult." Sarah said.

"Yeah, but we need two spirit flames, and a strong fiery creature would be great for that, especially since we are splitting the flame." Alphonse said.

"I suppose that's true... We'll take it, but if we think we can't handle it, we will, and I repeat, will, take it back." Sarah said sternly.

"I'm fine with that." Alphonse said. Sarah smiled gently.

"It makes me happy to see that you're this friendly and willing to speak now..." Sarah said reminiscintly.

"Well, it does come with time." Alphonse said. Sarah sighed.

"But it does show how far you've come from back when we first entered into the sect." Sarah said.

"Agreed." Alphonse said as a realization hit him. 'This is an emotional response...' He thought to himself.

{You are correct, why don't we celebrate?} Prism asked rhetorically.

"I suppose it is nice to see that." Alphonse said.

"See, even you see it." Sarah said with a slight giggle.

"Anyway, we should take this to the desk." Alphonse said as he took the request from the wall.

"Alright." Sarah said with a bright smile. They both walked over to the desk and put the paper on the desk.

"Are you sure?" The receptionist asked.
