Rogue couldn't believe her ears, her parents arranged an engagement for her with Lucifer when they were children? No! It wasn't true, her parents would have told her about or at least left something in writing for her guardian or her. Rogue angrily shook her fist at him, "Say one more word and I'm going to hurt you! How dare you lie about something like this? Are you insane or just plain stupid? My parents would have told me about anything like this and they never did. How dare you say that we are engaged, you think because my parents are dead you are going to take advantage of me? You are unbelievably arrogant, condescending and just plain evil. I will never marry someone like this. Sam, Kimmy let's go before we get contaminated with the stupid virus." Rogue grabbed her lunch tray and stomped off and the girls quickly scrambled after her. Rick and Leon barely kept from passing out of fright when they saw the wicked smile and the bright sparkle in his eyes. That's it, Rogue is going to die.. they briefly closed their eyes and said a prayer for the girl. Lucifer's smirk showed clearly his thoughts and boy were they just weird. Ah, my wifey is so cute when she's flustered and angry, just like a little kitten with little sharp claws. I can't wait to tell my parents that I finally found her. Lucifer calmly got up and glanced around at everyone's shocked faces in the cafeteria. He frowns and with a dark scowl says, "What's the problem? Never saw a married couple argue before? He looks tremendously aggressive and plain terrifying to the other kids and they quickly redirect their gazes from Lucifer and the boys. As he slowly walks out of the cafeteria and loud buzz is already heard and the gossip spreads around school that Lucifer and Rogue were engaged and by the looks of it Rogue didn't agree to it and Lucifer was bullying her because of it.
The girls in Lucifer's fan club felt like acid had been poured down their throat and were furious about Rogue's treatment of Lucifer. Any of them would gladly sell their left kidney if it meant just being close to Lucifer, let alone becoming his future bride. Rogue was so arrogant and bossy, she wasn't even that beautiful (yeah, right she was currently the most beautiful woman in campus but haters gonna hate, you know). She should be worshipping Lucifer for the honor of officially being his future bride. They wouldn't let this insult go unanswered. So this demented belief was the start of Rogue's anti fan movement. just the one misconstrued belief will give Rogue some problems in the very near future but at this time she was completely oblivious of what was coming her way.
The girls had made it back to their classroom and had silently sat down and were waiting for Rogue to talk to them. Since they still had time before class started Rogue decided to call her grandmother and talk to her about what Lucifer said. After a few rings her grandmother picked up the call and after briefly greeting her and answering a few questions she brought up the subject. "Grandma, I just heard something very disturbing and scary today about my future and I want you to tell me the truth okay?" Kyung was puzzled about what she said and quickly agreed to tell her anything, "Sweetie are you okay? What's wrong, let grandma know what's bothering you." Rogue nervously took a deep breath and asked, " In the private paperwork and instructions my parents left for me and my guardian, did they mention anything about an arrangement of marriage for me?" Kyung sucks in her breath, "How do you know about it? Who told you about it, your uncle and his family?" Rogue felt faint and nauseous at her grandmother's reaction, oh God it's true. Sam and Kimmy who were quietly listening to the conversation couldn't believe it. "Why didn't you tell me about this? I can't believe mama and daddy did this to me. This isn't the imperial dynasty times Grandma. I want to fall in love with my future husband not be forced to marry a stranger that may hate my guts because he's being forced to marry me. I will not marry that arrogant jerk!" Rogue is almost hysterical by now and her voice us getting louder by the second.
Kyung is astonished, "Wait a minute Rogue., You said you wouldn't marry that arrogant jerk just now. Do you know who you're engaged to, he told you about it and you wanted to verify if he said the truth? Papa and I personally know the boy and his a very good kid, great manners, handsome, talented and extremely intelligent, I think you got him wrong." Rogue is so aggrieved that for the first time in her young life she's rude to an elder, she angrily retorted, "If you think he's so great why don't you marry him!" Kimmy and Sam gasped and Rogue finally calms down a little and remembers what she just said. Kyung inhales and pettishly answers back. " Rogue Elizabeth Drake, how dare you say that to me.I already have a husband and this is your future husband we are talking about." "I'm sorry grandma, I didn't mean to say that to you," Rogue starts to sniffle and feels like she's about to cry. Sam gets up and starts to pat her back and Kimmy quickly brings water for Rogue to drink. "Nana, I'm too young to be engaged. I don't want to get married to him. Can you and Papa find a way to annul this engagement?" Kyung sighs, "I don't know if it can be done but we will try baby. Now please calm down. Do you want to come home early. I'll call the dean and have you picked up in 30 minutes."
