Breakfast and tea (5)

Victor couldn't believe his ears at the spirit he heard from her. He looked positively shocked at her. "Miss Akiaya, wait a moment. I believe you misunderstand my intentions." He stood up abruptly and reached for her wrist. Victor didn't expect what happened next to ever happen. Akiaya used his body weight against him and flipped Victor inside the restaurant. She then twisted his wrist to grab his attention. "Never touch me without permission. Got it. Now if I misunderstood then please enlighten me. Now!" She began to twist it slightly to apply just the right amount of pressure. "I asked you to lunch to talk about a friend of mines. Please let me go. You have my dominant hand you nut job!" He thought for a moment she wouldn't relinquish his hand but to his surprise she let it go and then bowed to him in remorse. "I apologize for the disturbance. Shall we sit and discuss this friend of yours?" The difference between Akiaya then and now in Victor's eyes was incredible. He was learning new things about her that he didn't even realized. He took a seat opposite of her, rubbing his wrist. "I take it you have taken self defense classes?" Victor looked at her incredulously. His question was met with a blank stare. It seemed as if she didn't want to answer that question. He thought of possibly asking Chun-Hei about it but then that would snowball into her asking him questions. So instead, he cleared his throat and began speaking. "I've been placed under the assumption that you briefly met a good friend of mines. Actually my best friend from university." He watched her intently for any reactions she only blinked at him. "Well, this friend of mines thought you were amazing and wanted to go out with you on a date. Shall I set it up?" Victor wasn't sure what was going through her mind only that she just stared through him, as if she was looking into the depths of his soul. "So? Do you want me to set you up with my friend? He's a great guy. Adventurous, easy going, loves animals, and women. He's also a model. Well was a model now he has his own business he's built using the money from his modeling career. He still does things in the background." Victor was starting to ramble on and on about Takeyasu. It was beginning to sound nothing like a talk up but more like a wife bragging about her husband. That mental note made him stop talking and lowering his head into his hands.

Victor wanted to leave the table and hide from the embarrassing moment he just endured under her glazed eyes. Before he could sneak away, he heard the shrill voice of a woman he was intimately familiar with. He looked up to see her there in front of him leaning over to kiss him. "Victor dahling. Where have you been? It's been ages my dear. Extremely too long." The woman standing before him was a foreign beauty. Her hair was long, jet black with a streak of purple near the front. This woman looked as if she was only a young woman but from her sophisticated stance the room didn't get a childish image from her. Victor quickly stopped her and spoke quickly. "Marna this is Akiaya. My boss's daughter and cousin to my fiancée." His eyes were silently begging her to play along. He didn't want anyone to know of their relationship. Marna took the hint but couldn't stop herself from teasing him. "Victor how dare you treat your…. OLDER SISTER with contempt. I have half a mind to disown you." If Victor was going to breath in relief it was lost on the words older sister. If anyone was foolish enough to mistake them for siblings he would insult their intelligence until their death but he had hoped her explanation would be passable. He took a moment to look over to Akiaya. It still looked as if she was looking into his soul. Did she mentally faint while he spoke of Takeyasu or was she going to ignore Marna and their relationship.

Marna decided since the little heiress was in a comatose state of mind, that she would join them. She flagged down a wait staff to bring her a chair to sit in. She took a seat in between the two of them. A waiter rushed over to add a third pair of silverware to the table. Marna gave them a smile that showed her dazzling white teeth. The waiter was temporarily love struck by it. So stricken that he nearly ran right into her chair. Marna couldn't help but giggle. Victor on the other hand looked as if his jaw would break from tension. Marna reached out her hand and roughly grasped his chin. "Victor fix your face dear you look as if you're going to fight someone." It took that action for Akiaya to snap out of her daze. She reached over and grabbed Marna hand, causing her to scratch Victor's face with her nails. "I don't care if you're so-called relatives or not. You're being to familiar with him. He is my cousin's fiancée. So keep your hands to yourself dear." There was no smile or warmth emulating from Akiaya.

The sudden touch of warmth on her wrist caused Akiaya to go into self defense mode. She leaned forward to allow his bodyweight to aid her, then flipped him on his stomach. Her heels then pressed into the small of his back as she twisted his wrist. "Never touch me without permission. Got it. Now if I misunderstood then please enlighten me. Now! Because I could snap your wrist quite easily." She didn't hesitate to apply slight pressure to his wrist. Once he told her his reasoning a weight had been lifted from her shoulders. It seemed she wasn't about to let go of him but the minute she released the breath she was holding her grip on him relaxed. Akiaya went back to sitting in her seat. Quickly she gave him an apology and opened her ears and mind to what he was going to say about his friend. "I've been placed under the assumption that you briefly met a good friend of mines. Actually my best friend from university. So? Do you want me to set you up with my friend? He's a great guy. Adventurous, easy going, loves animals, and women. He's also a model. Well was a model now he has his own business he's built using the money from his modeling career. He still does things in the background. He' a good guy, a great guy really." Akiaya could only listen to him speak her mind was wandering. Had she came across someone at the party other than Takeyasu? Could she really allowed herself to find love after giving away something so precious to a flagrant man? He even stated that she was his and his alone. If that didn't scream red flags she wasn't sure what else would. Deep in her thoughts, Akiaya didn't hear the lilt of a French accent or see the reaction Victor had towards her. Her thoughts kept going in circles. Should she meet with this person or should she take Takeyasu proposal to cherish her seriously. Brief moments of their night together flitted through her mind. The feel of his lips all over her. How his fingers explored her body so effortlessly that she felt they belonged on her and her alone. It didn't take long for her to feel her temperature rising.

Meanwhile, the lady introduced herself then promptly began to ignore her. Akiaya decided that no matter what how he spoke she felt comfortable with him and sensed that maybe she knew him. Certainly things he said didn't make sense to her. After making her decision she started to come to her surroundings, just in time to see Marna with her hand on Victor's face. Any answer she was going to give Victor took a backseat. Her hand hastily grasped the woman's. "I don't care if you're so-called relative or not. You're being too familiar with him. He is my cousin's fiancée. So keep your hands to yourself dear, or you'll see just how fierce I can get." Victor was taken back at how quickly she went from a comatose state to full on alert and fierce. He couldn't have her finding out his past and occasionally relationship with Marna. "Marna you may have this table. We will take our leave." He pried Akiaya hand from her and lead her out the door. Marna only smirked, then the dishes that were ordered came. The waiter looked around to see the rest of the party had left. Marna casually asked him to sit with her as she began to partake of the delectable meal. She already knew who order the food. This is Victor style one hundred percent.
