Opera's Tears

We feel like someone is coming to hit us and see that it is Opera, although we can dodge it because we don't sense any Malicious intent we let her hit us. Pow! Opera punched us both and started crying, and looking at her even we freak out.

"Oi Oi Oi, what happened? Are you alright? What happened?, calm down."

She started crying more, and then after a while she rubs her eyes and dries those tears and looks at us and hug's us. "Why did you come to save me? Wasn't it dangerous? I just asked Rejak to just let you know if something happened so you both don't worry too much. But you two actually go to a different country and stomp their military base for me and then disappear and not come back. You two are so mean."

After saying all of this she started crying her eye's out again, we then comfort her saying.

"We are right here, you are alright, you are fine. You don't need to be afraid anymore."

" I am happy, I really am but isn't it dangerous to just go to another country and attack it's military base for someone who you don't even know that well."

"Of course we will save you if something happens to you, aren't we friends? "

" Yes, we are, we are. I was so afraid but I couldn't let someone else be forced into a difficult situation for me, when my country fell 2 years ago I was protected by so many people who gave up their lives to protect me."

'sniff'

"Well if you want to honour them, you should keep living for them."

"Anyway, leaving that alone we wanted to invite you to our wedding next month. We really want you to come, right Raine?"

Our resident idol then popped up and hugged Opera, who was initially surprised but then recovered seeing that cute ghost who pooped up behind her and hugged her. Soon Opera stopped crying and started to hold Raine close to her.

"Who is this cute little kid, don't tell me it's your's?!"

"No! of course not, she is our residential idol a ghost who lives with us."

"Can I have her? I really want to have her, she is so cute and lovely. I want to play with her."

Looks like Opera has finally forgotten about that kidnapping and is now better, looks like it was a good decision to bring out Raine.

"Well we still didn't have our dinner, InnKeeper please prepare your beef stew for us and all the chef's recommendations we are starving. Also we will pay for everyone's meals today so enjoy yourself everyone."

"Coming right up big shot" The innkeeper winked at me as she said that and left.

Everyone cheered and thanked us as they asked for the occasion, we said that it was for our wedding and everyone is welcome to come. The cheered more and we decided to have our dinner and spend our time with everyone listening to their stories.

We hear a lot of stories from those adventurer's and merchant's who stay at this inn, some of them were stupid, some were cool and some were scary as we raised our glasses to those. But there were 3 which caught our attention, there was a party of 3 who were adventuring in the outskirts of the great red plains and encountered a behemoth a twin tailed scorpion which is relatively common but this one was four times bigger and red in colour instead of black. They tried to fight it but it was too strong so they fled away and informed the guild.

We might check it out, we have some time for our wedding so we can look around the places also Abberon is quite interested in the local sweet's found there so might as well. The next story was also interesting, a single scout was looking around for info of some kind and saw a cave full of undead monsters. Although that is not that big of a deal but the only known place where we have seen undead monster's without a necromancer is a dungeon and that location is not a dungeon which is surprising but what is more interesting is the aura they released was greater than what normal undead do and it had a light red glow on it.

The next one is the weirdest of them all, normal monster's are turning into magical beast's. Although that does happen naturally it only happens when they are subjected to a huge amount of Mana where they are close to an abundant Mana source like what happened with that Chimaera which was a normal monster but had grown beyond normal means. These monsters are nowhere near places with enough Mana to turn them, what is weirder is that normally there is no way for dozens of them to appear unless they are sharing a link and what is the weirdest part is that they also have a red tint to them.

It appears that something weird is going on and we need to investigate a little about this before it turns into a problem. We will invite everyone whom we haven't tomorrow and then we will go and look around the locations of these sightings.

After having dinner and saying goodbye to all of them we decided to go back home but Raine had fallen asleep on Opera's lap, although ghost's don't need sleep she has been expending a lot of her Mana onto that model to temper it so that she has a physical body. She really wants to go back to having a physical body, I can feel her loneliness of year's with no one entering the Mansion because of fear and her spending those times alone and at that age. She was just 8 when she died and the soul's of her parents dissipated while they provided energy for Raine's soul to be stabilised due to her lack of Circles.

It appears that she has forgotten everything about her time alive and only remembers the feeling of loneliness and despair. She has been a ghost for over 50 years and during that time she had been unconsciously absorbing Mana from a lot of artefacts in the house which allowed her to possess a great amount of Mana and her sheer will power allowed her to develop a skill which can let her take the form of her target and absorb their emotions and memories making her a highly skilled individual.

We decide to have Opera come with us to our house for today and live there for a day because Raine needs to sleep in that mansion to recover her Mana, which is why we needed that energy orb to power her golem in order for her to be anywhere and still be ok before we can go for adventures together which she really wants to do.

We go back to our house and give Opera a room to stay in and for her to put Raine in her room, it is quite late right now so we just disperse to our rooms and go straight to sleep.
