Accomplice

The day after I meet with Lili and Bell again to go to the dungeon. While going down I whisper to Lili "So, how many do you bring today?" Lili seems scared by my smile "I can only lure 3 people. What are you going to do with them?". "Well for that I need to do it myself, hehehehe....." I said while smiling.

"Kouhai-kun for today I will only stand aside and not help you, so we will only go to the 8th floor okay?" I said to Bell. With time passing Bell and Lili so concentrate on the battle, while I realize the people that Lili lure around the corner of the wall. "Hehehehe...." I laugh and start walking there.

"Now.. now... do you know stalking people is not nice?? What should I do with people stalking like this?? Hmmm.... I guess you need to pay for looking at my battle, right????" I said with a smile at them.

"Who do you think you're!!!.. Stop getting in our way!!! Move!!!" the first man said to me. "Hooo... you don't want to pay??? Should I take a limb then?" I said while pulling out Balmung. Three of them start charging at me and I beat them up, make them fall on the ground. "Now, We're inside the dungeon. No one will notice, won't it? Pay or missing a limb choose wisely? Hihihi..." I said again to them.

Not long after that, they pay with all the money they have. I walk back to Bell and Lili. "Now Bell, Lili. I need your help. If I need you guys to be my witness in front of my Goddess please tell her that I'm with you all the time. Ok? If not you will dive with me again like always to the 16th floor. Hehehehehe...." Both of them look at me trembling and nod at me.

I quickly go down and finish until the 49th floor. 'Hehehehehe..... Monster Rex Balor' I fight with Monster Rex Balor for 2 hours. The destruction to the dungeon already spawns 2 juggernauts now. I need to end it soon. I remove my Balmung which only opens 1 seal and now I'm using 1 Balmung from Siegfried.

'Yup, all is done. Let's go back up' I start turning toward the upstairs but quickly drop on my knee 'Maybe I need to rest first.'

After a short rest, I dash upstairs and only found Bell alone without Lili and not using his knife. 'Aiya, Lili. I already told you not to betray Bell but you keep doing it. Well, I'll just hope Bell can finish her problem.' I decide to kill all the monsters around.

Bell saying thanks to me and quickly run looking for Lili, which for some reason the trio that I robbed still there waiting for Lili on the 6th floor. How do I know that? because Lili is surrounded by ant monsters like in the anime and Belt can use Fire Bolt too right now.

I leave them to deal with the rest, I quickly get out of the dungeon and back home. I'm not asking for Aphrodite to update my status since I need Bell and Lili to make up first so I can get their support so I'm waiting for a week just to be sure.

I got a message from Loki that they will start their expedition soon and ask me to prepare. I can't wait any longer and I walk toward an abandoned church where Hestia and Bell live. There I can see Lili come to visit. "Emm... Hello Hestia-sama, Bell, and Lili" I said while entering the church. Bell is happy seeing me, while Hestia is still holding a grudge with me, So I took out another 1 million valis and give it to her and she turns polite. When I look at Lili, she looks troubled since she basically betrays Bell even after I said not to. I walk past Lili and whisper to her 'It's ok, I know about it. You don't have to blame yourself. Just promise me once more this time.'

Lili hearing what I said nodded at me this time with full confidence. "So, Hestia-sama, Bell, Lili. Since I often go to the dungeon with Bell and Lili. I want to say my thanks by inviting you guys into my Familia's mansion to have dinner if you don't mind.". Hearing this Hestia is happy since it's basically free dinner for her, for Bell and Lili, I wink at them signing that I need them now but seeing they don't understand. I get close to them and whisper 'I need your help tonight, after you arrive you will hear shouting and when I call you guys, you will get asked by a lot of people just say that I'm with you all the time. Ok? this is my life and death situation. So, please take this seriously'

Hearing this is life and death situation both of them swallow their saliva and nod at me. So, I back again after buying groceries for dinner. I told Aphrodite and the other that Hestia and co will come to have dinner with us.

Aphrodite seems happy hearing her aunt coming to visit, while she's happy I ask her. "Ditey, honey can you update my status?? I just want to check if my status is changed or not since I'm doing an experiment."

Aphrodite pricks her index finger and draws a line on my back to update my status, but maybe because she's too happy she just quickly copies the status on the paper since basically, my attributes don't change.

Seeing that Aphrodite doesn't realize my change of level gives me hope I don't need Bell and Lili. I look at my status paper 'Just as I thought, I level up again.'. I grin at this but for some reason, Asfi, and Aisha realize something is wrong with my paper after I grin silly looking at the paper.

Asfi ask Aphrodite "Sister ditey, May I about the attributes of our husband?". Aphrodite being ignorant as always just said "Nothing change from the last time I update. It's still I0." hearing this Asfi become suspicious at me.

Realizing Asfi is looking at me intensely I quickly burn my paper and act as nothing happened. I walk toward the door about to prepare for making dinner before I hear Asfi shout "Sisters, GRAB HIM!!!" Asfi and Aisha already jump at me while Ryuu, Chloe, Anya, and Lunoire being top-class adventurer react fast too and jump at me. "Girls, what are you doing? why are you girls suddenly grabbing me like this.". Ignoring what I said, Asfi command them "Bring him to the bed and lay him on his stomach. Sister Ditey, show us his status. Something is fishy."

Aphrodite tilts her head and confuses hearing Asfi said that but also back to the bed and update my status. Looking at the status Aphrodite becomes angry at Asfi "See, I told you it's still the same. No way I'm wrong reading this!" She glares at Asfi, but Asfi asks Aphrodite "What is his level sister ditey?"

Aphrodite back to reading my back again "Level 4.. why?" she back to glare at Asfi but looking at Asfi's shock face and realize something is wrong, Her glare turns to me. Sweat started to form on my head, "Wait.... I can explain.". "Asfi, Aisha, Ryuu after the dinner with my aunt bring a rope," Aphrodite said while her voice is trembling. "Now girls beat him up, You too Haruhime, Lena, Syr."

"WAIT!!!.... WAIT!!!... Wai...." I got beaten up, and my supposed to be a hard body after becoming part dragon doesn't work for some reason. For the first time, my face is full of bruised. Not even monster inside the dungeon ever leaves a bruise on me but a hit from my wives makes my face somehow unrecognizable.

Not long after the beating up session, Hestia barging into my door. "Niece Aphrodite!!" She comes into a somewhat tense atmosphere. Everything seems dark and red in the room, everyone glare at me while Estas that comes from the ground floor with Hestia looks surprised after entering.

"Sisters, mind telling me what happens?" Estas ask everyone in the room. They only give her a paper on my status. "Oooh my... Alan leveling up again..." Estas said after looking at the paper. Hestia seems to confuse and ask Estas. "If he levels up, isn't that a good thing?"

"Hestia... from what you know about Alan from information around. What level is he?" Estas ask Hestia. Hestia tries to remember information about me and answer "I heard Bell once tell me that he's level 2 around 2 weeks ago. Why?"

"That's suppose to be the day he levels up and report to the guild." Estas answer. Hestia surprise hearing it "WHAT?? He levels up from 2 to 3 just around 2 weeks? Are you sure he's only level 1 for 9 years?." The others hearing Hestia claim give her a pity look for a second before back at me again. After that Bell and Lili finally come outside the room "Hestia-sama, you shouldn't barge into other's people room like that." but quickly both of them too tense up from the situation.

Hephaestus sigh and said to Hestia "Hestia, my husband here is special." hearing Estas said this Bell and Lili that never know the truth surprised hearing that I marry a Goddess. Hestia doesn't know what so special about me putting doubtful face toward Estas.

"Let me show you something Hestia." Estas remove her eye-patch which make Hestia surprise by Estas's face. "Hephaestus... your eye... IT'S HEALED!!" Hestia said surprised. "Don't tell me...." "Yes, it's because of my husband over there. Do you know why I pay for all the expenses in the family? Not letting him go inside the dungeon??" Estas said to Hestia

Hestia hearing this become confused 'is it not because he just wants to laze around?' hearing this even Bell and Lili confuse since there's no problem when I go with them inside the dungeon. "From your face, you might think that he just wants to laze around the manor right?" Estas said this time chuckle at Hestia.

"It's because of his power and leveling speed that we forbid him to enter the dungeon. Look at this." Estas said while giving Hestia the paper. Looking at the paper Hestia, Bell, and Lili confuse looking at the number 'isn't it normal that all attributes become 0 after level up?'

Estas quickly ask them to look at the level. Hestia is the first one to surprise "LEVEL 4?? IN 2 WEEKS FROM LEVEL 2?? Hephaestus, this is absurd.". Estas smile at her reaction "Not just that, I'm sure all of his statuses at SSS level" Estas added.

Bell and Lili both surprised hearing this "ALL OF THEM SSS??? HEEEE....???" they now look at me that full of a bruise. I finally notice them and call them "Oiiii Bell-kun, Lili-san!! Help me explain to them that I just train you inside the dungeon and do nothing."

Bell and Lili realize my sign and start talking "Anoo... Aphrodite-sama, Hephaestus-sama It's true that Alan-senpai is training me and Lili inside the dungeon for the past few days." all the girls quickly turn to Bell and Lili which scared them. Asfi starts talking since she's the most attentive person. "Really? Bell-kun and Lili-san right?"

Bell and Lili swallow their saliva again after feeling the gaze of Asfi but nod at the question. "So, you guys are level 1 correct?" Asfi ask them. Both of them nod at the same time repetitively "Until which floor are you guys explore to?"

Both of them said at the same time "16" and scared to add more. "Really??" Asfi making sure the answer is the truth and both of them nod again. "Then answer this, have you ever notice that he's gone? or make some excuse to go out of the dungeon? or leave you to hunt by yourself for let's say 6 hours or so??"

This time the answer from both of them is different Lili said "Yes" while Bell said "No". This time Asfi glare focusing on Bell and make him shriek at this "Is that the truth? Bell Cranel-san???"

Being underpressure Bell automatically answers "No". Hearing this my hope is gone. 'Goodbye world, Goodbye my friends. I will wait for you.' another round of thrashing start. after it finish everyone goes to the dining room while I cook with a bruised face. While walking down Bell and Lili ask for my forgiveness but I said "it's okay. I'm at fault here. You guys did your best."

After all is done and Hestia co. is back to their home. We end the day while everyone hugs 1 part of me and makes me hard to sleep, but I can see that Aphrodite and Asfi shed tears after worry about me.
