The Bar

Melody pushed through the bushes as the sun hid behind the trees. "This is the place you're from, correct?" She looked over to the man. He nodded and walked in front of her "Let's get to my place quickly..." Melody walked behind him as people who were still out stared at them. Melody looked around the area, she noticed that she wasn't in a city or big town, she was in a small countryside village. They finally arrived at his place "A...bar?" he grabbed out a key and started to unlock the door "Yeah, got a problem with that?" She shook her head as he opened the door and pointed to a table "Go sit over there" Melody stood there for a minute before shutting the door and heading over to the table. She sat down and watched as he grabbed a first aid kit and walked over to her. He grabbed a cloth and poured some alcohol on it and started cleaning her wounds "I never did get your name" He looked at her as she lightly sighed "The names Melody, now, tell me your name" He looked back at Melody's face and cleaned around the gash "Elliot..." He stared at the gash, a tab bit confused "What attacked you? these seems to be quite deep" Melody smiled "A demon" Elliot looked shocked "A demon..? Arn't demons dangerous, a mere human should just be fighting them Willy nilly" Melody was confused "A...human...?" Melody shook her head and looked to the side "I thought you humans were supposed to be smart..." Elliot looked at her in silence before getting up and putting the first aid kit back "If you were a demon, you would of killed me by now" Melody put her hand over her blidfold "Sure, humans are annoying and kind of a pain, but I don't kill for no reason..." He went silent as he walked over to melody, handing her a key "There's a room upstairs you can stay in if you need a place to rest, but if your planning on staying here, your working" He walked upstairs and a door being shut could be heard. Melody stared at the key in her hand "Maybe some humans arn't so bad.."
