family matters

Melody was laying in bed, doing nothing. A sound of two mumbled voices came from downstairs. Out of curiosity, she decided to take a peak down the stairs and see who was down there. As she Crept through the dark hallway she made it to the stairs and peaked around the corner. "So you just find some random girl. in the forest and think it's just ok to let her stay here?!" Melody thought the voice of the other person sounded familiar "And on top of that, she claimed to be a demon?! Those things will not hesitate to kill you!" Elliot sighed in disappointment "Well she did" The boy went silent, at this point, Melody had remembered where she heard the voice. It was the man at the shop. "Arthur, being your older brother, I'm pretty sure I'll be ok, I think I'm old enough to know what I'm doing" The boy fumbled on his words before storming out, Melody silently rushed back to her room and laid back down on her bed "So he has a younger brother...intresring" Melody heard Elliot walk up the stairs and enter his bedroom. Melody got out of bed once more and headed down stairs to the kitchen. She entered the kitchen and went to the fridge, looking for anything she could eat. She came across some apples and decided to looked around to see if she had the supplies to bake an apple pie. As Melody looked for supplies Elliot heard the noise she was making in the kitchen and decided to investigate, he headed to the kitchen and looked at Melody. Melody noticed Elliot and almost dropped what she was holding "Oh heeyyy, didn't think you were awake" She laughed nervously. Elliot chuckled a bit "well with all this damn noise who wouldn't stay awake?" Melody sat all the stuff on the counter and looked at Elliot "hah, sorry, just trying to find some things to make some pie" Elliot looked at the counter and then back at Melody and smiled "Need help?"
