To The Death!

Christian pursued the downed captain across the small battlefield, dodging and deflecting the incoming blows from the enemy troops using his spear, his skeleton warriors were slowly making headway, they helped Christian's assault on the commander effectively, killing any distracted troops that tried to hit their master.

*Summoned skeletons have achieved 5 kills between them, the warlord can now summon an additional 3 warriors and select a class for the original 3 skeleton warriors.*

Christian thought " Upgrade the three original into horsemen and give them their mounts now'

*As the warlord demands, the three skeleton Warriors will become horsemen, their mounts will be granted now as well as the knowledge required for them to be effective horsemen. They will also be granted a pole arm to use while on horseback and a sword and shield when they dismount.*

Christian smiled and nodded his head, he summoned his additional 3 warriors who appeared behind him and started defending from the back, as he chased the commander down on foot he saw a group of the enemy troops go flying and surprised he stopped his pursuit, mounts equal to his own had risen out of the ground which 3 of his warriors jumped on top of, when they landed on the horse, a white light covered their bodies and they grew larger and a polearm similar to Christian's spear appeared in their arms.

They forced themselves out of the encirclement that they were in and rode away from the enemy horsemen before sharply turning around and charging towards the enemy at full speed, their polearms easily pierced the armour of the horsemen and the skeletons began to rinse and repeat thinning out the opponents numbers. Many horsemen attempted to hurt them however the skeletons did not fear death and any attempts at taking them out were met with recklessness that the opponents could not match.

Inspired by the skeletons tenacity and drive, Christian sped up his chase and finally caught up to the commander who was surrounded by his personal guard at this moment in time. Christian smiled and said" Leave this tribe alone whoile you still can, I will call off my troops if you leave now. If not I will kill everything here and feed your bodies to the skeletons. Your guards can't stop me even if they are on horseback and I'm not, you have 20 seconds to decide. I will make your choice easier."

Christian then launched himself off of the floor and landed in the middle of the guards where the commander was hiding, he then said "Tens seconds left."

The commander laughed in Christian's face and said" My family have ruled the steppes for far longer than you have been born, My uncle is the Khan of this area and you better show me some fucking respect. The woman you are defending is my wife who ran away from the wedding before it was confirmed. I ran this far to get you in close range, your spear arm is amazing for someone of your age however you are too close to me now for the weapon to be more effective than my sabre."

Christian smiled and said" Good tactics my friend however even in this enclosed circle I still favour my spear over your sabre. You are looking at the new Khan and I'm a just person, kowtow and kiss my feet and you can live. Fail to do so and be my first major kill. The choice is yours."

"You have confidence kid however that is not enough to thrive in the steppes, you will die here at my hands, your spear will become my trophy and gift to my uncle. May the spirits guide my soul and blade, this is a duel between me and him, if anyone intervenes it will be the death penalty."

The guards formed a dueling ring around their Commander and Christian who where now wirhin striking distance of one another. Christian struck first, launching hinself at a weird angle, attempting to throw his enemy off feom the get go.

The commander easily predicted the incoming blow however he was caught off guard by the speed of Christians continuous blows, hIs sabre barley staying in his hand. Christian seeing that he had the advantage, pulled back for a second, this was his first and only mistake.

As when he pulled back , the commander repositioned himself and launched a speedy offensive of his own, only Christian did not have the same defensive strength, forced to the edge of the dueling circle, Christian began to falter.

He knew he only had two choices left, take a gamble and attempt to disarm his opponent as he struck him or use his skeletons to assualt the army while they were vulnerable, hoping it would be enough to save him.

Blocking blow after blow, Christian began to feel his arm's getting numb, unable to cope much longer, he dropped his spear onto the floor and as a result was stabbed through the throat, dying instantly.

A notification flashed in front of his eyes as the world began to go black around him.
