Prelogue: Starting Over Again

The earth trembled from continuous earthquakes and most of the seas evaporated. Trees have withered and mountains have melted. Multiple volcanoes appeared out of nowhere and threw lava amongst the land, covering the debris formerly occupied with inhabitants.

Amongst the red scorching sky, few silhouettes standing over a strange floating device can be seen observing the desolate ground up high.

"It looks like humanity has to start over again," a dark-toned man grumbled.

"Those beings paid a heavier price, who knew they would be so despicable to destroy our planet," the lady in cloak spoke with fury.

"Enough talking. We must start until it's too late," their leader said.

The two of them became silent as they wore a serious expression. They neither chanted nor spoke, their bodies integrated into light as if they came back from where they belonged.

"Are the three of you done exchanging your final farewells? It's your turn," the leader ordered.

The three turned their heads to face their leader. From the left is a young adult flashing a bitter smile like the other two. The other two of which were couples held hands as they were unwilling to part with each other.

"Leader, we bid you farewell," the three of them spoke at the same time like disciplined soldiers.

Without waiting for their leader to answer, they started to fade. Countless sparks of light appeared on their bodies and traveled under the earth.

The earth magically started to sprout grasses and trees. The lava, albeit hot in temperature, turned cooler until they became water, the ground began to reform and the cracks slowly disappeared. The sky which was formerly red became sky blue. Hours later the earth began to revert like the destruction never happened.

"Those beings would not wait for a million years for a protector in this world to show up, I have to accelerate the evolution."

The leader took a bottle and opened it. He rose his hand and the liquid before it followed. Then, the liquid began to expand and shrouded the whole planet until it started to turn transparent.

A magical thing happened before the leader's eyes. Time accelerated like a timelapse, animalia started to reproduce. They evolved quickly and different branches of animals came. Dinosaurs then dominated the whole world but came into extinction due to famine. Mammals took advantage and dominated the entire species. Monkeys evolved into gorillas and formed into a man, a human.

Now the liquid lost it's effect and time came back normally. The world now worked like it should be, an evolution of natural process.

The leader sighed in relief and began his next plans. He left the humanity's lifelong knowledge to the earth. Hoping the humans would prosper a thousand times faster than the civilization back then.

After his preparation, he felt like his tasks are finished. He flew up to the sky with his device before stopping to glance at the earth again.

"I can't retire like this. I have to do the rest alone," He lamented and left the earth's atmosphere.

From then on, the new era of humanity had begun.
