THE UNEXPECTED ENCOUNTER

[Himalayas region of Nepal]

You could see a black cat with blue eyes walking on the street of town looking at everything with an excited look. you may have guess already, it is non other than our lovely slime Rimuru.

He have finally reach a town after traveling for nearly a week gaining some new skills and learning more about his new body which we will learn about some times later.

and luckily in the outskirts of the town he found a cat. then with his predator skill he devour it.

" this place looks ancient, it's culture is also interesting and is very beautiful, I never imagine such a place exist. I will be sure to visit all the beautiful places in this life " he thought.

As he was walking around admiring the beauty of the town suddenly someone grab him from behind and raised him up.

Rimuru felt a chill went down his spine , he couldn't guess how he didn't sense someone grab him but soon relax/calm down thinking it was just because of his carelessness.

But then the next word he heard made all the hair on his body stand up.

???: "Hohoho.. what do we have here.. a naughty cat" said the stranger in a playful manner.

then with a bit more serious tone turning me towards him, he asked " what is a creature like you doing here??"

then after a few minutes of silent the stranger continue with a smile " no need to be afraid I was just curious about you, so I came to meet you. .. "

[Mc POV]

As I was walking around happy finally able to reach a town free from the loneliness i feel being alone in the mountains and enjoying the view infront of me

then suddenly someone grab me from behind which made a chill run down my spine but after hearing what he told all the hair stood up in my body.

when the stranger turn me towards him what I saw is an old man with common features with a goatee and dress like that of a monk/priest with a hoodie (khaki colour).

he exclude no aura from his body and his face resemble that of an old man who could be seen everywhere. and even though now I have fear resistance skill and he shows no hostility towards me, my instinct were crying me to get away from him as soon as possible.

I couldn't relax even when act friendly and smile towards me.

"God I haven't been in this place for even a month and haven't fulfill even a single of my dreams. is this the end for me.. " I pray.

somehow I feel like someone was laughing his/her ass off seeing me like this .. ..

while Rimuru was thinking all of this, his body was motionless like that of a stone. he didn't even realise when the old man took him somewhere else from the street.

when he come back to reality, he found himself in a room full with a lots of unique things which he saw for the first time.

At first, Rimuru was confused as he found himself in a new place with lots of interesting stuff (books, weapons,etc) which made him want to go explore but he was still wary of this old man who was standing just next to him with an amusing smile.

though he couldn't hold himself much longer and started looking and browsing through all the stuff. first he looked through the books and found it useless as he don't understand anything written within it.

So.. after that he looked through the weapons and all, then as he reach towards the of the room, in the corner of the room he saw something which made him a bit surprised and go into thinking mode again.

what he saw was a *cape* which for some reason he felt like he have seen it before but couldn't remember where.

As he was thinking and trying to remember where did he saw this cape before.

...

*cough* * cough* coughing the old man and getting his attention finnaly spoke to him "aren't you too brave/curious , going through my stuff without even asking for my permission. don't you know curiosity kills the cats" his face showing an annoyed expression.

but Rimuru could still feel that the old man wasn't really angry with him from his voice.

the old man then continue " it seems that you recognise that object (pointing at the cape)" with a curious gaze.

" and how long are you going to stay in that form. I know that isn't your the real you so why don't you show me who/what you really are ???" asked the old man.

I knew that this guy/old man infront of me was very dangerous but still somehow deep inside me I got this felling that he wouldn't harm me.

So I turn myself into slime (real body) and reply to him him for the first time.

"should you introduce yourself before asking about me" I exclaimed.

the old man was surprised seeing my real body but soon composed himself and replied "hohoho.. interesting.. your really interesting ...

and forgive me for not introducing myself earlier ".

" you see I have lots of name some called me *The master* *The high Lama* ... ..
