As Markus made his way across the hills overlooking the serene of grass leaving the thick forest behind him he took the time to enjoy the scenery.
""The real thing is so much better than that mirage""
Markus commented remembering a similar scene inside of that mirage that he saw inside of the mage tower.
""Sure with magic you can simulate the best parts of reality but having only the best parts doesn't make something great, it's because the world is imperfect that the good parts of it are so precious. Like how the colors of a painting is useless without the canvas to draw on""
Inside of the mirage the weather was cool despite it the sun being out and the sky being clear of clouds, in reality the sun casted an ever present cone of heat on Markus, this was only the first of many noticeable difference between the mirage and reality.
""I should be arriving at my location soon""
It was about to be noon when Markus arrived at his destination.
