A Rollercoaster Love

"Be ready for the first and last question. Take note that this is 10 points" Mrs. Pink said as she was roaming around the room


"Oh right, sorry Mrs. Pink" Kelly said as she keep her things away.


"Psst, Zoe did you get to study?" Nico whispered


"No head U-turn, No right turn and no left turn! above all keep silent during classes! and if I ever saw someone is cheating, your paper will automatically mark zero, understand?" Mrs. Pink warned as she was passing through our way


"Yes, Mrs. Pink" My classmates responded in their lazy voices


but suddenly, I notice Nico was laughing slowly, as he covered his mouth and then he looked at me, and my face was like What-so-funny?-look


and I was like Oooooh and as I saw it, I end up laughing hard


"It's color pink!" I said as I was hitting Nico's arm so hard


"And what's funny? Mind if you two guys share? hmm?" Mrs. Pink


But suddenly, the whole class starts to laugh.


"What is so funny?! This is not the time to joke!" Mrs. Pink said as she walks to the center and says, "Nico and Zoe, Campus duty! After class" Mrs. Pink smiled 


Now let's start, If the length and width of a 4 by 2-inch rectangle are each increased by the same amount, the area of the new rectangle will be twice that of the original. What are the dimensions of the new rectangle?"


"Psst!" Nico called as he turns his paper to the side for me to copy his answers. Nico grinned.


And suddenly while I'm almost done copying, Mrs. Pink banged her hand to her desk and shouts 


"Thank you, Nico. But I swear I will study hard next time"


"It's okay, I am your best friend and it is my duty to help you." Nico wears his sweet smile


"So, you said you have something to tell me?"


"Ahh yes, but not now. Just after weeks and I will tell you, I promise"


He looks jolly and happy today, and his smile is different from the past. But I'm glad, but at the same time, It's a pain.


"Zoe, I've been thinking about going to the beach with you and Kelly."


"You know how much she prioritizes her studies."


"but she needs to open her eyes that we're still here too" Nico wears his sweetest smile again as he puts her right arm on my shoulder


I am selfish sometimes when it comes to the person I loved.


"Oh, the beach? Well I must say, Right after our class"


"Oh wait, You meant to say right after our campus duty?"


"No, it's not reasonable to be in a campus duty"
