Driggio puts the final touch to Rosa's gown. News of the engagement reached him after the Ricca clan gathering. He called Violet insisting to make Rosa's wedding gown as he was also the designer during her wedding year back.
Driggio lets Rosa wear his never been seen design, inspired by the royalties of Europe infused with the style of the old Persian empire. It is a flowing gown sans the puffiness with dropped elbow sleeves in silk and embroidered chiffon veil to cover only Rosa's head. Rosa is happy because she can breathe easy and see properly without anything blocking her face. Driggio also voluntarily made Graysen's white suit with a special red tie lined with gold threads.
The past two months took all the energy of Driggio as the tension of the piles of couture clothes of the Ricca's he has to make for Rosa's on-coming wedding. But he took the stress with a grain of salt because he feels fulfilled dressing up her favorite model since she was a little girl and now a grown-up woman about to get married.
Rosa wishes for a simple wedding. She only wanted an intimate celebration of 100 guests but Modena and Bitor Andrei got worried because of the political affiliates whom they have to invite. Madam Desta settled the issue by suggesting that they can come to a compromise at 500 guests. Desta would be in-charge of streamlining the guest list of the limited dignitaries and high society friends they really have to invite. Rosa and Graysen just double checked it for approval. 500 guests are simple already as Graysen is a public figure and the number of family attendees from the Ricca clan in Italy already reached to 70. Of course the count includes Nonna and the Ricca family's butler.
Madam Eder has been running around as she is the chief organizer of Rosa and Graysen as she pledged. Her dream did come true. Or should we say it's off her bucket list.
To boot Madam Desta has the exclusive wedding coverage of the couple. It would her special edition of the wedding magazine issued every beginning of the quarter by the Apta Publishing.
Rosa and Graysen's nuptial can be classified as the wedding of the decade as Madam Desta arranged it to make it more private in a grand cruise ship that is still set to launch owned by Graysen's uncle.
They exchange simple vows of promises with the white gold ring inlaid with blue diamonds, Modena Andrei commissioned for them.
Standing on the elevated deck, the officiating minister announces, "You may now kiss the bride."
Rosa suddenly feels awkward to kiss Graysen in front of many people. Her new husband initiates the kiss saying to Rosa's ears, "Just open your mouth a bit."
She gets bewildered once Graysen's lips touches hers. She feels like any movement around her temporary halt and her head in a whirl. Graysen lets go of her lips and holds her shoulder to face the guests.
He beams facing everyone. He murmurs to Rosa, "Now that we are married what would our term of endearment as a couple should be? Do you like the sound of Italian? Should it be mi amor (my love)? But I think mio dolce (my sweet) suits you better."
