Return of the Ace (1/3)

"What is your cultivation base right now?" That was the first question Lucifer asked when he saw Ace walked out from the cultivation chambers he had prepared for him.

"My foundation was strong enough and coupled with the abundant amount of cultivation resources and cultivation chambers filled with spirit energy, I managed to step into the early stage Martial Master realm." Ace started off by talking about the increase in his cultivation base after forming the perfect foundation, but that was only the beginning.

"Besides that, I also managed to awaken up to the seventh blood pool of the Slaughter law while creating a sword technique unique to myself." As Ace spoke about the sword technique he created, he unsheathed his sword as seven swords condensed from Slaughter law formed behind his back.

"I realised that as long as my mental energy is strong enough, I can release my Slaughter law to its full extent without worrying about the consequences it might bring." Ace explained, his effort in this one month wasn't for nothing after all.

There was another thing he didn't mention since Lucifer didn't know about it, that was the fact that he had already cultivated the Samsara mind to the 36th circle of the seed stage."

"It seems that Jay has chosen the right person this time." Lucifer murmured, thinking to himself that there was only fourteen years and three months left for Ace to stand at the peak regardless of how strong he is at that point of time.

"I'll bring you back to the sect personally." Lucifer suggested as Ace took up his offer since he had other matters to settle at this point of time.

Sect system: Level 2 (4732/10000) EXP

Sect points: 13400 (From disciples completing sect missions)

Members: (7461/10000)

Elders: 4 (Can only be appointed by the sect master)

Disciples: 7457

Average cultivation base: early stage Great Martial Master realm

Average age: 18 years old

Location: Nascent mountain (Middle spirit grade), nourished by the Spirit tree constantly

Sect buildings: Martial Pavilion, Middle grade dwellings, Lecture hall, Alchemist workshop, Blacksmith workshop, Spirit tree, Life and Death realm.

With the sect points, Ace had already formulated a new set of plans as he first spent 9000 of the sect points in order to build the needed number of dwellings and upgrade them to the current quality with increased cultivation speed.

As for the remaining 4400 sect points that he had, he was going to stick to his initial plan.

Time Flow Dimension: 3000 sect points, one day inside the dimension is equivalent to five days of cultivation in the outside world, a cultivator is able to stay within the dimension for three days a month.

It might not seem like much, but if one does the math, that would be an advantage of twelve days of cultivation over others and this was only the lowest quality Time Flow dimension.

As for the next part where he's going to use his sect points, it would be on something that would benefit the sect in the future economically.

Spirit stone mine: 1000 sect points, disciples are able to extract spirit stones from here monthly, the limit is up to a hundred thousand low grade spirit stones each month in total. It might not seem like much, but since it was a permanent source of pure income, the price to pay was negligible in this case.

As for the remaining 400 sect points, Ace would save them for now until he finds a suitable time to use them in the future.

"Lucifer, I hope that the next time we meet, you would have made a decision. Will you assist me or will you continue down the path you've chosen?" That was the only question Ace asked Lucifer who sent him back to the sect.

The two stood in the air, meeting each other's complicated gaze briefly, but neither of them uttered a single word to each other.

Without even bidding each other goodbye, Ace then started to walk towards the sect which was only a few hundred meters away from here while Lucifer flew to his castle which was located in a separate dimension he opened up.

On the way, Lucifer couldn't help but think to himself, was he doing this because he appreciated Ace's talent or was it due to the incoming calamity?

As for Ace, from the moment he returned to the sect, he had already allowed every trouble that followed him from the Divine realm to be forgotten.

Now, he was going to spend the remainder of this month raising his own strength while managing the sect.

He also had to choose the disciples that were going to participate in the annual sect competition which was going to take place soon enough.

As for the details of the annual sect competition, he would have to check with Cidd or Jay who has most likely gathered the information in his stead.

But there was one last problem, the loyalty of the newer disciples who have yet to see him. Having made a trip to the Divine realm, there was one rule that Ace had learnt.

Regardless of how much reputation one has, strength still determines everything. If he wanted to secure the loyalty of his current disciples, then he would have to prove himself worthy.

Walking up the stairs of the Nascent mountain, Ace was soon stopped by a young face.

"Who are you and what are you doing here? If you're here for the entry test, it'll only take place after the annual sect competition." The young disciple said in a slightly nervous tone which made Ace break out in a minor laughter when he figured out the reason.

Restraining the slaughter law which made him release a strong aura of killing intent, Ace said in a calm voice, "The sect master of the Nirvana Sect has returned."

"Follow me." Ace told the young disciple who actually followed his words unconditionally as they made their way to the sect in just a matter of seconds.

"Sect master!" Even though most of the first batch of disciples were either spending their time cultivating or completing a mission, there were still a few who cultivated with the rest.

This wasn't because their cultivation was lacking behind, but because they needed time to stabilize their cultivation base and the area around the Spirit Tree was the best spot.

"Sect master?" That was the first word that caught the attention of the disciples as they followed the line of sight of their seniors, only to realize that they were looking at a youth even younger than them in shock.

Not only that, the killing aura around him was in pressuring down on every disciple present, most of them taking a step back subconsciously as though to keep distance from this harmless demon.

"It seems that the sect has been developing quite well in the past few months I was away." Ace said towards the disciples who had greeted him immediately as he scanned the other young faces one at a time.

These youths were far from being loyal to him, they were only here for the cultivation resources. Even though they might be talented, it's about time he started taking things to the next step as well by introducing the separate organizations under his sect.

These organizations will be led by the disciples he trusts most, including Ray and Lancelot or even Garen who is still situated in his own kingdom.

The organizations will be given a sector or area to manage each, such as the gathering of intel or taking part in battles to deal with demon beasts invasions or bandits who have been committing misdeeds.

As for the rewards, it would be dependent on the performance of each organization to receive their respective reward from Cidd, not only that, the amount of time they can spend in the Spirit Stone mine will be restricted as well if their performance is poor.

His plan wasn't to just make every disciple feel involved, everyone has to play a role as well and the consequences for not doing so are the cultivation resources they've come here for.

"Sect master, can we have a battle?"
