"Even the most deadly can be fragile when times are tough."

The beast had disappeared between the shadows of the trees again. But from that horrid stench I know it's still here. Small flickers of movement would pop up and disperse the instant my eyes landed on the forest animals and underbrush. It didn't seem like I could spot it, with or without my vampire side to provide help. Luckily the forest isn't as dense as a normal one but still is capable of hiding big creatures. I stop in my tracks a smile on my lips as an idea crossed my mind. Maybe I should force it out. Stomping on my foot I watched as the ground trembled and jagged spikes shot out from different places before falling back down and returning to their former places before new spikes would pop out beside them.

I stagger as an my ears began to bleed from the heaven defying screech the beast had roared, it had been pierced through its stomach not to far from me,I held it there as the spike turned crooked from where it jotted it out. It didn't seem to care that it was harming itself as it struggled, it's paws clawing at the rocky spike creating deep cuts that stitched together the instant his claws disappeared to redo the damage dealt. The spike was big so it couldn't brake free from it using only it's strength. But it wasn't smart enough to know this apparently. I knelt down just out of reach from it's clawed paws to stare at it. It didn't look like a wolf, but it did. It had a wolf like face and tail yet it didn't seem like a wolf at all not with the feathery fur scattered across its scuff.

" I should burn you. And God only knows that I really want to. But unfortunately I promised I would return and if I want to avoid injuring myself I can't kill you, because obviously I'll need to recreate that fire that I had made and magic like that is out of reach for now. Have fun escaping this, and remember. I won't be so nice next time we meet, little beasty." I stood up just as it started to screech again, thankfully having covered my ears in time otherwise my eardrums would have burst. Backtracking as I watch it glare at me or at least I think glare at me, it was staring sure but it wasn't doing anything else. It isn't even paying attention to the spike that had pierced its belly anymore. I paused chewing my lower lip in thought. Perhaps it was slightly intelligent? Maybe not a lot, but just a little. I furrow my brows staring at the beast. Having lowered my hands from my ears, I watch it's shoulder twitch as it gave a soft Meaw. I blinked. Maybe it is a mountain loin in a sense? With a little wolf genes and bird ones too apparently, how that had happened escapes me. If this creature was a baby then I can understand it's behaviour, but then how big will it be when it's grown up? I shuddered just as a roar shook the earth but it was thankfully not the beasts. Alpha Hale? Persuing my lips my eyes drag away from the beast and towards the school tempted to give a response. Another Meaw drew my attention away, the beast was trying to look cute. It's ears were pinned to its head and it was giving me puppy eyes. Ugh, not happening it had killed to many for me to try and take care of it..... right? Yep,I'm leaving before I do something I will probably regret. I twirled around and took off and once I was a considerable distance away from the beast and school I let my chest rumble before letting a resounding growl slip out of my lips. So itchy! I scratched my throat making a face. I gotta practice that. I kept running before a wolf I recognise appeared beside me, keeping up with me easily.
