After a fire incident leaves a side, Prince Donato's face scarred. He loses the love of his life and grows into a deep bitterness and depression, hating his very reflection. The once warm Prince who ruled his kingdom in love has turned bitter cold and harsh towards his people. With a growing hatred towards his own appearances he starts to hide his face behind a mask but what happens after his growing loneliness and he hears of a girl named Charis who has been described as having beauty unmatched.
