The Hunt

The crowd was silent they all looked towards the voice direction. A tall young man with average looks with a bright smile on his face that was Adam Smith once again said

"CEO I will do it "

CEO Lisa coldly looked at him for a minute and said "OK now you are officially appointed as the security guard. You will have to sign a contract of five years to work for our company if you break the rules you have to compensate by 5 million. Are u ready to accept the conditions?"

He secretly wiped out his cold sweat and thought about himself collecting debt from the Mafia boss then he bitterly thought 'it's better to be guard the door than collecting debts and the salary is twice what I am working for so no need to hesitate'....

He said in a serious tone "yes CEO I'm willing to accept it. Someone must be responsible for the work so I will volunteer myself."

CEO Lisa was satisfied with his answer and nodded with a smile which almost made his heart fluttered. But soon a voice made his dream shattered which automatically made the smiling CEO Lisa to cold face.

"ha.. Isn't it that pervert?"

"yes it's him. Oh he chooses to become a security guard had! "

"yeah thank god he will be far away from us or else who knows what he will be thinking about disgusting thoughts"

"yeah ur right"

He almost roared out 'why?..... 'but he soon calmed down and pretend to not heard anything.

CEO Lisa gave a scorn and left while a fatty came towards him which made Adam think that a meatball is coming towards him.

"Hahaha brother you sure have a guts even the toughest person in our company doesn't take that post....you are really awesome" the fatty said in a admiring tone.

Adam felt weird and said

"it's just a security post what so danger about it "

The fatty was stunned and asked

"brothers you don't know the rumors about it"

"what rumors? " Adam felt something was wrong but it was too late.

"you don't know about the 'door' is haunted" the fatty said in wide eyes with a shocked expression.

Adam was dumbfounded but soon he looked at fatty with disdain and thought 'what haunted it's just a bullshit rumors'.

When fatty saw the looks he looked at him and said in a pity tone " brother that rumors are true... Well in fact you are now 8th person who is going to be replaced"

He was stunned then asked in a unhurried tone "what happened to the other 7 guards "

The fatty looked around seeing no one was here he said in a low voice " five of them are fear stricken and two people are dead"

Adam felt like he was thrown in the abyss with full of cold chill. He was desperate in planning to avoid the collect of debt from Mafia boss so when he heard CEO voice he felt like heaven was opening a door for him so fearing people may take the job he hurriedly voluntered himself but who thought that there was a haunted story behind the 'Door'. He really want to leave this goddamm company but when remembering the signed contract he became pale.

When fatty saw Adam situation he felt sympathy and said while going away "brother be sure to take care of yourself"

But Adam was blaming his bad luck and went away . His lonely shadow casted long way which one made look at him in awe and respect....

"ah... Sister look isn't it that pervert who volunteered himself to be guard for the 'Door' ...."

"yes it's him... He must be using this thoughts to impress us"

"Ugh... He is sure narrow minded what a arrogant person"

"yeah he must be thought that we will be moved by his bravery and we will fall in his arms"

"yeah I think so too"

"let's bet how many days can he guard there?"

" a month?"

"no just a week is enough!"

"you guys are counting days I thought he would be broke out in a hour? "

"first let's see if he dares have the courage to stand there.... Humph"

Adam almost tripped when he heard the discussion. He bitterly shook his head and thought 'I was happy that I escaped from crisis but who knew a even bigger problem has fallen on my head. He silently took his belongings and went to stay his special room where it is opposite direction of the 'Door'.

In an unknown shabby building,

A group of unknown people with fully armed heavy weapons were scanning around the house with caution. In front of them was a black coat old man who is the same as the one while discussing with that pale faced young man [SEE IT IN CHAPTER1].

He silently looked at the fallen roof and a few bloody marks with a frown and gave a signal to his people behind him.

"Go search every inch of this place we need to find the body".

"yes sir" The scouts said in a low voice and went in every direction but the old man continued to observe the bloody marks with uncertainty. Suddenly he saw a bloood mark were fallen in a straight line. He certainly took a sword from his coat which was tied to his waist he silently moved towards the blood marks. When almost he thought that the blood mark is about to be end he heard a painful scream which made one soul shudder and next a few gunshots were heard but it soon stopped.

The old man became tense he hurriedly went in that screaming direction and said "who's there?".

But no one replied he held the sword horizontaly and said to his people in communication device "Gather at my coordinates"

But soon he heard was endless screams and gunshots. He cursed in a low voice and started running like a leopard which one made awe. He suddenly stabbed his sword at his left side without warning but it didn't hit empty air a dull sound was heard which akin to a metal screech noise and green blood was spilled . He hurriedly tried to pull out the sword but a long black tail with full of spikes stabbed at the old man chest.

"PUCHII"

The old man vomited a mouthful of blood and looked at the 'thing's in front of him with unwillingness but soon hus eyes became red. He suddenly took a Generade in his pocket and pulled the pin by throwing it at the 'thing'.....

'BoooooooooooM'

A loud voice and a fire cloud was emerged in that place which is now flatten black. The old man body was blasted apart but soon a creak was beard with a painful roar and the 'thing' escaped in the dark alley while green blood spilling when it moved.

Soon people started looking at the scene in fear while cops sealed the place controlling the chaotic crowd.

.....

When the news reached the pale young man he was furious and started smashing everything. His face was now filled with fury as well of sadness soon he started to calming down and said

"I need to know the detailed report of this event"

There was no one was there except the pale young man but strangely a voice was heard in the darkness where one can mistake it as ghost.

"yes... "

Soon the atmosphere became silent. He looked at the dark sky which is about to be raining. And muttered

"soon.... very sooon they will be here"
