Synopsis
The year is 1879, in Deadwood the Dakota Territory. A private detective from Chicago has arrived to investigate a mining tycoon named John Carlston. Mr. Carlston is a businessman but he and his partner, Charles Edwards are dirty businessmen.
After our detective, Hendrick Elliot Benedict, meets his demise, the story continues with the help of an angel. Elliot has at most six days to find or six bullets to use against Mr. Carlston and Mr. Edwards before his time runs out. With the help of an unlikely source, Miranda Edwards, he is on their trail.
Will he find them before he runs out of time and bullets? Will he be able to close the case? Or will he just vanish into the night?

I am loving this!! Living in the Deadwood area and reading this really brings it to life. The concepts of story are interesting, a twist. The character developments is amazing and the author really sets the scene. Amazing so far... can't wait for more!

Overall, a good read. Nicely written, great character development, you either loved them or hated them. The setting was awesome and the sequence of events was amazing. Hope this isn't the last we see of Detective Hendrick Elliot Benedict.
