"Who are you?" Hawk managed to ask between his ragged breath.

"That depends on who you want me to be," The girl uttered and for the first time, Hawk saw her upturned honey-colored eyes. "What's the matter?" He asked, confused as to what made her stop.

"Nothing," Her smile widened a little more, making her face bright and goddess-like and Hawk became more defenseless with that. "It's just that I only want you to have a free taste. The next of course comes with a big price"

"I will not be able to focus on work anyway knowing you are going through something," He added and reached for Simione's hand to caress it.

"I'm fine really," She assured him. "I'm just probably shock or maybe pissed that the old man did not take care of himself. He had never been sick as far as I could remember,"

"He is a strong man," Hawk expressed. "That I know for sure,"

Don Benedicto indeed didn't appear sickly. Even when he had gotten old, his posture and body was still well and strongly built and the only indication that he was on his late years were the few wrinkles that scattered on his skin and his hair turning white. His freckles too had glowed old but even then, he can still pass as a gorgeous man. This probably was the reason why the new of him getting sick came a surprise to Simione. It just looked like it wasn't in the old's man system to be sick or become physical ill.
