Gabriella hadn't had much sleep the night before. Despite feeling irrelevant at Alana's welcome party, she had no choice but to linger until most of the guests left. By the time she could finally withdraw, she was utterly spent. She never imagined how exhausting it could be to stand on the sidelines like a wallflower, watching everyone else enjoy the gathering. Add to that the fact that she'd had enough sips of wine to render her incapable of holding a decent conversation. Luckily, no one seemed interested in her, and she was equally uninterested in everyone else—even Primo.
Honestly, she wasn't even sure how she found her way to her room, nor did she know where Primo had slept. Hopefully, not with their new housemate.
"Come on, Gabriella, what are you even thinking?" she muttered, cupping her head as her thoughts spiraled. It was only the first hour of the morning, and her intrusive thoughts had already gone as far as imagining an affair between Primo and Alana.
