The young woman gritted her teeth, "A week ago, Master Faramir went to the Supremacy Tower for the annual Guild Masters meeting, however, during a banquet at the end of the meeting of three Guild Masters suddenly reported missing and up until now they have still not been found"
This time Master Faramir showing a hesitant look, "This..."
He admitted that perhaps those three people were sent by him to a random place, after all, he often did it for some hateful people.
But even though he was the culprit, he did not want to admit his deeds in front of Lura.
"Maybe they left early and..."
However, Lura didn't want to make him finished up his lame excuse either as she interrupted him straightforwardly, "Master, perhaps you were truly didn't know or you're just pretending not to know it but everyone in this town- no, everyone in Orion already know who did it" Lura rolled her eyes causing Master Faramir coughed in embarrassed, "Who else if it not you, Master? Master, you always lost control every time you drunk"
Recalling that every time Guild Master was drunk and then several people came to the Guild to submit letters of complaint and compensation, it was always giving Lura major headaches.
"Master, some people don't dare to complain in front of you directly because who knows what will happen if they angered you, so they can only complain and ask the guild itself for compensation"
Lura lamenting the Guild's helplessness and sighed, "Master, you must lessen your drinking time because every time you get drunk, it's the Guild who must receive the repercussion"
Master Faramir stubborn and mumbled, "I just drink for a bit..."
Lura smiled at his stubbornness, she was already used at childish, willful and uncompromised Guild Master, therefore, she did not expect that her advice would be heard by him.
She put aside the thing that already passed as she moves forward then put the papers on the table, "Alright, Master, we have a serious matter this time" her expression turned into serious, "This afternoon, we received an urgent letter from Alliance"
Lura touched one of the papers on the table and shifted it to Master Faramir.
Master Faramir frowned and pick it up, "A letter from Alliance?"
He read it carefully as his face little by little changes from shock to solemn, "Five Elemental Beads?"
Magic has five basic elements which are; Fire, Water, Earth, Wind, and Wood. Each of them synchronizes with nature and forms the essence of magic. Meanwhile, Elemental Bead is an embodiment of the essence itself that has accumulated over the years, it contained enormous magic power related to each element itself.
For Elemental Magic Mage, it was a very useful and valuable treasure. Even if your talent is bad, Elemental Bead could make up for it.
"Um," Lura nodded, "Also, I suspected each bead has given birth to a spirit"
"What!?" Master Faramir startled, "But there's no mentioned such thing in this lett-..." He suddenly halted as he stared at Lura and raised his eyebrow, "You predicted it?"
Lura smiled in affirmation, while Master Faramir forced himself to calm down for a moment, "Tell me, what did you see!"
Lura doesn't intend to conceal it either, "I saw a fire, very big wildfire, a black person hiding in the water, and the cry of spirit"
Master Faramir frowned deeper.
She glances at Guild Master and silent for a brief moment, then tries to she gives a further elucidation of her insight, "I had already tried to interpret it right after I got the news but time is too short, the only thing I can analyze is the 'big wildfire' associated with the Fire Elemental Mage and 'the cry of spirits' representing the awakening of spirits, as for 'black people hiding in the water'... I still can't see through it"
"Hmm..." Master Faramir nodded lightly and contemplating for a while.
"How many A-Rank Mages which available in the Guild now?" he asked suddenly.
Luru put righteous expression, "None"
Master Faramir, "..."
Luru, "B-Rank also none!"
Master Faramir, "..."
He gnashed his teeth, "What is the quest ranking?"
Luru, "S-Rank"
Master Faramir angrily slapped the table causing many papers to fly and some fall to the floor, he yelled, "Are you kidding me? should I send a bunch of C-Rank Mages to their death? This is Elemental Bead we are talking about, how could we missed it!"
He harumphed as he gives an order impatiently, "Use Thousand Miles Orb and call them back immediately!"
Thousand Miles Orb is a Magic Treasure for long-distance communicating and it can also give a projection image of other parties.
"Oh, wait!" suddenly he stood up and straightened the wrinkles on his robe. He coughed intentionally while stealing a glance from Lura, "Let me go. Windgraaf Town is only a small place and if your prediction is correct, it'll inescapably be in ruin in just a few days. Since our capable Mages are all absent, then, I have no choice to come down personality"
Lura heard the bitterness and helplessness from Guild Master's tone, "Even though I very busy and feeling reluctant, I still have common people to protect! I can't remain silent while this town will soon become a history"
She was speechless, it took a while for her to recover her sense as she was thoughtfully astounded by her Guild Master's perfect shamelessness.
"Master, you are just wanna skip the work and have fun, there's no need putting such righteous act, I won't hold you back"
"Oh!" the certain old man's eyes lightened up and smiled brightly as he clapped the girl's shoulder, "It's you who still understand this old man the best"
Lura looked at him, "However, I will double your work after you finish having fun"
The old man froze instantly as he stared at the girl incredulously, was this the little girl who always shouted 'Master is right', 'Master amazing', 'Master handsome', was she?
"You changed!"
Lura snorted and chuckled lightly, "Master, there's no need to send anyone there. The three fragments of images that I mentioned just now are the core clues of the future-to-be, apart from that, I also saw a flash of big fighting and the arrival of the Royal Armies"
"Oh" Master Faramir who still felling dejected suddenly seems to come with realization, "You mean, even if we go there we still wouldn't get any benefit?"
"That's right, Master" Lura nodded, "Especially since this will be a very big occurrence, it is very possible that one of the Zodiac Constellations will not stay still, it's just that, which one who will come we still unsure"
...
At the same time, Lilia was running after a little thief who stole her cosmos ring but was suddenly stopped by two little guys whose faces resembled each other.
What distinguishes them is the color of their hair; one is black as ink and one is white as snow. Except that, everything looks very similar-- from the face, height and body size.
Very much alike, in the eyes of Lilia, they are both like two adorable panda cubs. The black-haired boy was wearing white clothes while the white-haired one was wearing black clothes.
"Twins?" Although she was shocked but not too much, identical twins are not unusual for modern people like Lilia.
"Older Sister, where are you going?" The white-haired boy asked.
"I think this Older Sister is catching a thief" The black-haired boy answered his brother.
"Thief?" The white-haired boy titled his head innocencely as his eyes lifted abruptly, "Yah, a little thief just passed by"
"Yah, the little thief is running" The black-haired boy cheerfully raised his hands, he began to run around Lilia and the white-haired boy imitated him.
"Thief~... Thief~... Thief~... Thief~..." they sang the word 'thief' repeatedly to the point Lilia who was surrounded by two little panda cubs lost it count.
"Alright, little guys, did you see which way the thief ran away?" Lilia asked gently.
The little guys stopped immediately as they looked at each other and then pointed each of their index fingers in the direction, "There!"
They shouted in harmony but the crack appeared on Lilia's smiling face because they respectively pointing in the different directions.
"So... which direction is the right one?"
The white-haired boy and The black-haired boy blankly looked at each other again as they suddenly laugh.
"Hahaha..."
Lilia stunned a little, then she looked down and massaged her temples, "It's hard to understand the children"
The laughter continued, its voice getting louder and louder, somehow it made her neck hair stand up and her body tightened.
She straightened up her head toward the twins but they're nowhere to be found. However, the sound of laughter still lingered throughout the alley.
Lilia was shocked and her heart palpitated as she inwardly started to shudder.
She was in the middle of the alley and there was no one but herself here. Even though the sun's light is able to penetrate the darkness here but for some reason, Lilia cannot feel its warmth, instead of giving her a chill.
She was scared!
The twins' laughs that initially sounded adorable gradually became frightening, in Lilia's ears, it sounds like the devil's laugh.
Shortly thereafter, Lilia heard questions that echoed throughout the alley along with terrifying laughter.
"Which one?"
"Which one?"
"Right or left?"
"Which one?"
"Correct or wrong?"
"Which one?"
"Good or bad?"
"Which one?"
"White or Black?"
"Which one?"
"Angel or Devil?"
"Which one?"
"Which one?"
...
The echo of endless sequential and overlapping questions that even makes Lilia unable to keep up with it and it only makes her head dizzy.
She kneads her head as the pain and giddiness won't disappear from her head. Her eyes turned blurry but her ears could still hear the echo of questions and laughter very clearly.
Buff!
Lilia was no longer able to hold it, she knelt down and eventually lay on the ground.
