Prison escape

The security guard triggers the alarm,

*triiiiiing* A huge sound kept buzzing around the asylum. Some Officers, Officials came with the gun. In the meanwhile, Jay hid near an alley. He overhears running footsteps approaching *tap tap tap tap tap*. He hid in the garbage near that alley.

"Sir he has escaped." One officer said.

"Notice everyone that a criminal is on loose fast" One Officer shouts.

"Yes Sir"

Jay hears the footsteps fading away. He gets up and walks but stops. He glances on the sidewalk opposite of him, he saw an image of his wife calling him and he approaches the shadow and leaves meanwhile the asylum found out there was someone who escaped from there. They did a search in all the rooms and then they found a dead body covered in blood.

"Sir he was stabbed by a fork," One staff says.

"Call all the police stations nearby release a report of a criminal named Jay has escaped from prison and also send out photos to the news agency of Jay. Tell them to warn the citizens."

"Yes Sir."

Soon the news reached the police stations nearby.

Lucy's apartment,

Lucy was making herself a good meal in the kitchen unknown of the situation.

*ringing* *ringing* phone rings.

Lucy turns off the stove and goes to the living room to pick up the phone.

"Hello?"

"Hey, it's me, Jeffery! watch the news fast." Jeffery in a tensed tone.

"But..."

*hangs-up*

"What is going on?" Lucy sits on the couch and turns on the TV and changes to the news channel.

(A report is been out by a police station of X City, a criminal on loose. It is said that the criminal is the murderer of Lois Lu Corporation's Chairman's daughter Roshini Lois. It is also mentioned a warning that this murderer is not mentally stable so please be aware, the city is now changing extremely, the criminals are getting more violent please be safe)

Hearing the news Lucy clenches her fist.

*Ringing* *Ringing*

Lucy gets terrified. *panting* she sweats and picks up the phone.

"Hello!"

"Did you watch it?" Jeffrey asks.

"Yes, I did! Jay has escaped. Oh my god, what.. what should I do?"

"Pack all your belongings such as few clothes and daily necessities. I'm coming to pick you up. You will be staying with me today onwards, fortunately, my roommate went to his hometown he won't be back soon, till then you stay with me. I'm on my way."

"Yea.. yeah okay I get it! I will start packing."

*hangs-up*

Jeffery hang-up the phone takes his keys for the car and leaves the apartment.

Lucy in a hurry packs a few clothes and toiletries.

Her mind was jumbled up

'He has escaped? He probably wants to kill me. He will come here soon... I have to run off from here.'

*Doorbell rings*

Lucy gets startled, she slowly approaches the door she takes a vase that was kept nearby on a table and approaches the door.

*Banging of the door*

*Dhak Dhak Dhak*

Lucy clenches the vase, gulps, and takes a step forward.

*Dhak dhak dhak * the sound of the banging starts to raise.

Her heart was beating fast, she was uncomfortable, she was anxious she made-up her mind thinking it was Jay.

*Dhak dhak dhak*

"Lucy... Lucy, it's me, Jeffery open-up."

Lucy sighs in relief she opens the door. She tears up when she saw Jeffrey. She hugs him. She held herself to this very moment that she won't cry. But after seeing its Jeffery she couldn't hold back she burst in tears.

"It's alright everything is going to be fine." Jeffrey pats her head.

"I was really scared." Lucy cries.

"Don't you worry I'm here with you. Have you packed? Let's not waste time we should leave immediately." He holds her.

"Yeah"

He takes the suitcase, Lucy locks the door to her apartment. They went towards the parking lot. Jeffrey starts the car and heads towards the main road.

A black shadow behind a pillar of the parking lot watched them leave.
