Respect

Mihawk took the cross pendant on his neck and unsheathe the blade within it, he raised his hand and said, "Show me."

"Show me if you really are worth it for me to take you seriously."

"Good."

Zoro took his sword and put it in his mouth and held the other two in each hand.

"Three Swords Style? I think I heard you from somewhere, a famous swordsman who wields three swords in every fight, I did not expect to see you here."

Santoryu is a style of sword fighting where the practitioner wields three Katana; one in each hand and one in the mouth.

There are many different techniques for this sword style, including direct hit attacks and compressed air projectile attacks.

Roronoa Zoro is the world-famous swordsman of the Guild and the Isshin Dojo Master Disciple who created this style.

"Is Koushirou-dono coming with you?"

"No"

"Well never mind, I will find him later to see if we can exchange pointer."

"Then I will tell the master if I see him."

"Good, let's start."

Zoro crosses his two swords across his chest and places the blade in his mouth horizontally behind them.

Zoro then dissaper and appears in front of Mihawk and cuts through by swinging the swords across his chest, resulting in a descending diagonal-crossing slash from both swords while the mouth blade performs a horizontal cut.

"Santoryu: Oni Giri."

Mihawk easily blocks Zoro's attack by pinning all the three swords before he can even slash it, but Zoro does not stop, he suddenly spins around to escape from the block.

"Santoryu Ogi"

"Sanzen Sekai!!"

Zoro holds two of his swords at an angle against each other and rotates them rapidly, because of the distance he can gather enough momentum but with rapid speed, he can still create enough power to perform the stance.

He then slices up the foe with full speed and power with all three of his swords at once.

But Mihawk is not a soft paper, he calmly blocks all the sword cuts with an easy then horizontal cut of one of Zor's arms.

"So strong" This is what Zoro thought.

He never expects that he can be helpless in front of the Strongest Swordsman, all his attacks are useless, he can clearly feel that his sword's blade starts to get dull.

"Tatsu Maki"

Zoro spins with his swords to create a dragon-like tornado that both slashes and blows Mihawk away but Mihawk stops the technique again by blocking the blade spin.

He then slash again, this time, he cut the other arms of Zoro making him lose more blood faster.

"Boy, let's end this, you're wasting your time if you continue this, you're now strong enough, come back if you can at least block my attack."

"Not yet"

"Ichi Gorilla"

"Ni Gorilla"

"Hyakuhachi Pound Ho"

Holding his two swords horizontally above the shoulder and the other in his mouth in the same direction, he performs a circular swing that launches three air-compressed projectiles spiraling towards the Mihawk.

Seeing the compressed air, Mihawk slash down again but how did Zoro actually come out from behind the compressed air?

"Ittoryu Iai"

"Shi—shi Sonson!!"

Using one blade, Zoro cut Mihawk horizontally with a shred of hesitation or whatsoever, his eyes blazing in fire full of fighting spirit.

The speed of the one sword attack is much faster than the other technique, his sword even got near Mihawk's neck.

"Very good kid."

With one rapid motion, Mihawk took his giant sword finally.

Yoru

Mihawk wields the Black Sword Yoru as his main weapon. Yoru is a curved black blade in the shape of a latin cross, with a golden crossguard decorated by red cabochons, and a hilt wrapped in bandages, with a particularly big cabochon at its extremity.

When he accepts challenges for his title, he only draws this blade for those with enough spirit to earn Mihawk's respect, or enough power to present a threat; otherwise his Kogatana is sufficient.

Yoru is an ornately-decorated, single-edged, human-sized sword about 7 feet shaped like a latin cross with a shiny black blade, which is curved at the end.

And this time, he uses it because he did not feel threatened by Zoro but it's a form of respect for his courage.

With one slash, Zoro's sword stops, and blood spurt around, then Zoro slowly falls to the ground.
