The Irregular At Magic High School (Updated)

I read this LN already, and this has been made into anime too(which I can say that it's so hype). Yes, the MC is overpowered but not to the point that he will swoops everyone who anger him.( If you don't like an overpowered MC then don't read it ). The story is simply amazing, all characters felt so realistic with an interesting personalities, and the novel has great world building. So what are you waiting for!

I really really LOVE this story; also it's anime. I really like the mc being overpowered. Though, there's one thing I hate the most in the story. It's the existence of that annoying, flirty little sister.

Maybe it's just me, but I couldn't really get into the story. I have read a good deal of novels that are similar to this, so perhaps I'm just less patient with the cliches. For example, the second the main character sat on a bench I was able to make an extremely detailed prediction. I predicted that an attractive kind girl who had a Noble heart that didn't care treat other students badly if they were of lower rank and had a lot of authority was going to suddenly take an interest in him. It was ask cliche and predictable as they come. I also didn't appreciate the periodic lore dumps that the story kept interjecting every now and again. I don't know, maybe I've read too many novels to appreciate something like this.

First and foremost, go read it! This is a great Novel (good anime too btw. ;)) that has it’s own unique, in depth fleshed out world. Is the MC OP? Yes. Is that bad? No. The characters are all likeable and the plot is great as well. I like the highschool theme in the beginning and how to story goes along (no spoilers from this review). The only thing that might be off putting for a couple of people is it‘s pace. It is extremely slow paced (especially if compared to anime) and although this Novel has only about 170 Chapters, they all take 30 minutes to read! However if you haven’t read this novel yet I would highly recommend you to. Overall: Worth your time ;)

To think such a great anime came from this small novel with only 172 chapters *facepalm* before I lost my vision I watched this series like 5-6 times because it was just that good. As for reading this novel........ I'm on the fence about it, it's just too damn short. unless the chapters are like 20-30 pages long which I don't think they are; the book will end before I even get settled into it 🤷‍♂️

very decent novel, maybe slightly on the shallow side of storytelling and character identities. unfortunately it seems the author here stopped translating or publishing them, since the last update, Vol. 17 was finished and 20 of the 32 books are available for purchase in English. So after you read here, just know that it is not the whole novel by far and it seems the work here will stay unfinished.

I Think it is great to see a magic system where it is actually explained in a scientific way. The characters are also very well written and a lot deeper than they at first appear to be.

I love almost everything about this novel and the anime adaptation following this work. This work is probably the reason I became invested in light or book novels.

This a very interesting story with numerous adventure and has an excellent story development as well as the mysterious unveiling of the protagonists' true identities.
