Emotional Rollercoaster

"Dude? Hey Mark. C'mon man, If you need help I'm here for you"

*sobbing noises*

"C'mon dude, Dad said you can stay with us if you want to" Said Many with tears

Staring at his mothers, and little brothers freshly dug graves, Marcus couldn't help but glance at his last remaining family. Emmanuel Reyes, his best friend and Emmanuels parents. Standing there with tears Emmanuel too tried his best to fight back the sadness. Though no matter how hard they tried. They just couldn't overcome the pain. This grief made an overwhelming contrast with the beautiful weather. Golden sunshine, clear sky, and soothing wind. It's almost as if heaven took pity and made this day beautiful to try and cheer them up.

"Boys, Let's go back to the house. It's getting late"

Snapping back to reality Marcus realized he's been standing there for hours without realizing it. The sky was already darkening with hues of orange and red. Glancing back at Emmanuels father he replied with a cracking voice

"Thank you"

"You're my boy too. I've told this to you years ago and I'll repeat it once again. You're family." Said Emmanuels father. He held Marcus and pulled him into a tight hug and said nothing. Marcus who thought the tears stopped couldnt help but cry out again. Tears, snot, grief, pain, anger, sadness. All of it he spilled out. "This I, It, the pain. It. It, hur.... Hurts so much"

"Just let it out son. I'm here for you, Mannys here for you. All of us are here for you."

Looking at the time it was 1:24 Am in the morning. Emmanuels parents sat in the kitchen drinking tea discussing the recent tragedy. "How could his father do this Christopher? He committed suicide. Not only did he lose his brother and mother, but his father had to..."

"Arlene, please the kids are sleeping. Lower your voice a little" Said Chris with a frown

"I'm sorry, I just dont understand how this could happen. What was he thinking? He still has a son. Now his son has nothing"

"Dont say that Arlene, he still has us"

"We can barely afford ourselves, I.."

"Arlene please, stop it. He needs our help"

"We cant even help ourselves, and you thi..."

"Shut the FUCK UP! What is wrong with you! That Boy is only 16 and you're thinking of shit like helping ourselves? Cant you see, or are you blind? THE KID FUCKING NEEDS US!

*Bang*

"What was that" Bryan asked startled

"Huh" Arlene

"Mark, come back" Emmanuel shouted

Manny dashes across kitchen doorway heading to the front door.

"What happened?" Arlene said aloud

Emmanuel with rage written on his face turns around and shouts

"For fucks sake we could hear your bullshit from inside the room. Talking about his father like that and spewing shit that we cant help him! He dashed out with his bag and ran away. Fuck, look at that shit. He even told me awhile ago how we're the only people he has left and you go and say that shit! What the Fuck mom!"

"Dont speak to your mother like that! Instead help me search for him. Arlene, go to the neighbors and ask for help"

"But it's so late"

"I said GO AND ASK FOR HELP!"

Glancing around Marcus realized he was lost. He didn't know how long he ran for, or where he ran off to. "Dammit, where am I?"

Taking a seat on the ground he couldn't help but clench his fist. All his grief seemed to turn into rage

"Why? I dont understand. I have no one left! Mom and Jason are gone! Dad left me! Mannys family hates me! They fucking lied! They said I'm family! Bull Shit!"

"I HATE IT ALL! AHHHHHH DAMMIT! IM SO FUCKING USELESS! IM JUST A PATHETIC PIECE OF TRASH!"

Standing up Marcus ran to a garbage bin and started kicking.

"Oh Mr.Macho thinks he can act bad ass huh?"

Startled Marcus turned around and saw a person who looked just like him

"Who are you!" startled Marcus replied

"Me? Just a passer by. I saw someone who looked like me causing a ruckus and I was amazed so I came over" Replied the stranger

"We better get out of here before someone calls the police on you for property damage" He said with a smirk

Marcus not knowing why followed him. They walked together and found a bench a few blocks away. Looking around Marcus Realized he was on the east side of the city. They sat there while Marcus poured out his everything. He felt nothing odd that a person with the exact same looks, bag, and, clothing was talking with him. What was even more odd was the fact that not even a car was passing by on the city streets, even the wind seemed to have stopped. It was as if he was oblivious of his surroundings. After an hour of talking Marcus realized the time.

"I should get going, Manny is most likely worried" said Marcus after realizing how much time passed.

"No it's fine, I should get going too." Said the look alike. As they were about to part ways.

*grrroowwwl*

Marcus glanced at the look alike with embarrassment. "Sorry I took too much your time I'll be heading back now"

"No it's fine, but before you leave here. I have something for you" Opening his bag the look alike pulled out a bright red apple and handed it to Marcus.

"You seem hungry. This is for you"
