Chapter 1: Death and Beginning.

(A/N: Had to rewrite everything cause I wasn't feeling happy at the story I was making at the beginning, Soooo I restarted it and retconned some whizz (-3-) Hope you guys enjoy this.)

Sakura Yuki's life was never a good one. He was born in a terrible family with a neglectful father and an abusive step-mother, the only solace he had was watching anime and reading manga and light novels.

His father, Sakura Minato, neglected him during childhood due to his mother dying from childbirth. Ever since then he blamed him for everything and would even get drunk in some instants and beat him senseless, and this continued throughout the years.

At the age of 10, that was when Yuki met his step-mother Harada Asuka. Asuka was a curvy, lean woman with long, blond hair, green eyes and plump breasts. She wore a short, red sleeveless dress with a fur scarf that entices men when they first met. At first sight Yuki could already tell that she never loved his father and was only married to him for his money as they were quite wealthy due to his mother's inheritance money. Being suspicious Yuki eavesdropped in one of the woman's phone call and his intuition was right, she was only there for the money, with this knowledge he tried to tell his father what she might be trying to do to him as this could be the reason him and his dad reconcile.

Unfortunately, Asuka could also tell that Yuki knew about her plans to procure money from his dad so when she saw him trying to tell his father about her plans, she would interject and interrupt them by charming him to get in bed with her. In some occasions when they're alone she would beat him angrily then lock him in his room for long period of time.

Yuki having enough of this treatment sent an anonymous tip to social workers about the abusive behaviours of his so called 'parents' but they just shrugged it off and never bothered investigating it leaving him with resentment for them.

The beginning of Yuki's high school years was when he found some type of comfort in his life. There he knew that the only method to escaping that 'family' is to study hard, so he spent most of his time in libraries or cafes just to get better grades for a scholarship in one of the top universities. He also went to practice kendo and aikido to use for protection against his father's senseless beatings and sometimes a way to control some of his anger. This was also the time he discovered the world of anime and manga from one of his classmates. He overheard one of them talking about an anime called Danmachi and ever since then he had been hooked. He found watching anime and reading manga and light novels as a type of 'escape' from his terrible living conditions.

Yuki even took a part-time job as a café waiter, as he was embarrass borrowing his classmate's novels. Fortunately, his father and step-mother went on a year-long vacation during the end of his second year of high school. So, he spent most of his summer vacation reading and watching anime as there was no abusive 'parental' figures to hurt him. He later found out from a police officer about his parents' unfortunate death from a gang related crime during their vacation. Apparently 'his' step-mom seduced the wrong person and when his father found out about this, he tried to pick a fight with this person without knowing he was a kingpin of that place.

Yuki was content from hearing this piece of good news as he had to live with his grandparents in his mothers' side. They were a nice old couple who was the only one that wanted to take care of him, when they found out about the abuse and neglect they tried to sue the social workers for their incompetence, which cause Yuki to cry and sob in their arms as this was the first time he had ever felt loved in his life. Finally, with the support of his loving grandparents he worked harder than ever and finally got a scholarship from a famous university in the city. He went there to study medicine so he can improve the health of other people. For the first time in Yuki's life he was finally happy where he was.

At age 23, Yuki graduated with honours and soon got a great job in a very famous corporation that helped people change the lives of billions. He even got a Noble Peace Prize for helping to find the cure for cancer.

Unfortunately, happiness was but a fleeting moment. During his way home from a conference to help sick people in the third countries, he saw a young child who had tripped while chasing his parents in the middle of the crosswalk and in the corner of his eyes he saw a speeding truck, of course the driver was seen dozing off. Noticing this Yuki rushed in to save the poor child as it seems that the truck was failing to slow down. In the end it was all in vain as he couldn't grab the child away in time. So, instead he used his body to absorb the impact of the collision which caused his ribs to break and puncture one of his lungs.

"I-it's okay" Yuki said trying to comfort the scared child, as he tries to hold back from coughing blood.

"Quickly! Get an ambulance!" screamed the mother in panic as the father grabbed their child from Yuki's embrace. Seeing that the child was now in the embrace of her parents he finally succumbed to his injuries and died.

When Yuki awoke, he found himself floating in the void of space. There were stars and galaxies everywhere he turned and when he tried to checkout his body there was nothing. This caused a slight panic in Yuki as he didn't know what was happening.

But those worries soon disappear as a wave of warm light rushed through him and a silhouette came out from the source of the light. As soon as the light passed there stood an old man with long grey hair and a beard wearing nothing but white robes and sandals. When Yuki laid eyes on the mysterious old-man he felt a strange aura of divinity around the man.

"Fret not young man, do not be alarmed" Said the old man calmly." My name is Enzilon and I am a god of life and death".

When Yuki heard the words that the so-called god said he was a bit surprise but later collected his thoughts as he had read this in some reincarnation light novel and was kind of excited where this is going.

"As you have already thought you will indeed need to pass through the cycle of life and death and will be reincarnated as something else, but the gods had made an exception to you" Enzilon said while making a gentle smile to Yuki." Due to your upbringing and the way you saved billions of lives, including the young child you have saved you will get five wishes which of course could be anything you want. Also, you will get to keep your memories intact for free as well."

Yuki getting a bit too tense had to collect his thoughts and calmly asked the god, "Is it possible to reincarnate back to my old world?".

Enzilon sadly shook his head and told him, "Sadly you cannot, I apologised my boy but the time limit for your resurrection had long passed and once a soul has been removed from a world they cannot get back."

Yuki was flabbergasted by this info and so he instead took several minutes to think about what he wanted to wish for, and when he finally thought it over he stared at the god and confidently said, "For my first wish I would like to be able to travel to different worlds which includes anime, books, comics, tv series and movies. for my second wish I would like to look like Arthur Pendragon from Fate/Prototype with all his skills and equipment, for my third wish I would like to have Gilgamesh's Gate of Babylon filled with his treasures and Emiya's arsenal…are those okay so far?"

"Those wishes are all possible" Enzilon smiled happily, "Now hurry up and finish you wishes so you can tell me what world you want to go first."

"Okay!" Yuki beamed happily, "For my fourth wish I want a system as well to help me get stronger and help me to manage the world I travel, and for my last wish I would like a pocket dimension for myself where I can go train and live as well. Oh also, make it so I can invite people in my dimension and for my first world….let's see… how about Danmachi?"

"Hoho~ Those are some pretty interesting wishes" Enzilon chuckled" Those wishes are still possible but as a precaution you will have to train in your pocket dimension for a while so you can get used to all those skills and power after that you can transport to the world of Danmachi in any timeline, okay?"

Yuki agreed to this and mentally bowed his head to the god, "Thank you for giving me the chance for a second life. I will always be in your debt."

"Hohoho~ if you really want to repay me then live this second life to the fullest!" Enzilon chuckled, "If that is all then…." and with the snap of his finger, a pillar of light started to appear beneath Yuki. "Enjoy your second life" and then Yuki disappeared with a smile as he gets envelop by the light.

When Yuki woke up he found himself in the middle of the forest near a beautiful lake and in the middle of the lake was a blue floating crystal that glowed brightly. Getting closer to the lake he found himself staring at unknown reflection. The one staring at him was a 18ish short blond hair man with green eyes wearing the standard armour of a knight with silver armour parts and a blue tunic with a black and white hood attached to it. Yuki knew that it was his new look during his adventures. Marvelling at Yuki's new look, finally snapped out of his tranced and tried to figure out what was happening.

'Where am I?' Yuki asked himself. But before Yuki can do anything an ambiguous voice suddenly started talking to him and it said…

[Welcome Host, I am the System Assistant and you are now located in a safe zone in your pocket dimension.]

'Huh..neat.. System can you tell me how long I have to stay in this dimension or how I can get out?' Yuki asked.

[Hosts has to stay in this realm with the minimum of five years of training, after you're done with the tutorial mode then you'll have to input the date and location in where you wanted to go.]

'Alright! Can you tell me more about my dimension?'

[Certainly Host, for your dimension there are six level where you can teleport into. The first level is the Safe zone, where we are now, the second level is the Archipelago, which is a place filled with small islands and huge oceans, the third is the Hell World, where the surface is filled with molten lava and the underground filled with tunnels and caverns, the fourth level is the Jungle, a place filled with large and tall trees with very little open fields, and for the fifth level there is the Winter Land, a place filled with snow and ice. Unlike the Safe Zone, the rest of the levels only have safe areas where you can relax from your countless hunting of monsters. Also, once a monster is killed you get to keep the materials and the same monster will respawn after you leave the level.]

'Hmm I see..' Yuki pondered, ' Okay for now can you show me my Status'

[Magic Resistance – A] : grants protection against magical effects. Differing from the Resistance effect that merely rejects Magical Energy, this ability cancels the spells altogether.

[Riding – B] : denoting the ability to ride mounts and vehicles.

[Mana Burst – A] : is the increase in performance caused by infusing one's weapons and body with Magical Energy and instantly expelling it.

[Instinct – A] : s the ability to instantly identify "the best personal course of action" during combat. Because this Skill allows for the prediction of trajectory, it is possible to avoid attacks from firearms( also, magic projectiles).

[Charisma – B] : is a composite Skill consisting of a person's charm as well as the natural talent to command or unify an army or country.

[Gate Of Babylon – E~A++] : It is a storehouse(AKA Your inventory) filled with all of Gilgamesh's treasures and Emiya's Arsenal of weapons. Able to summon items directly into his hand, pull out weapons from directly behind him, or prepare numerous weapons midair, loaded like bullets.(Can summon Enkidu and Ea).

Equipment:

[Excalibur Proto: Sword of Promised Victory – E~EX] : It is a Divine Construct and the golden holy sword of King Arthur. It is a double-sealed weapon locked by two seals, Invisible Air( a sheath of wind that covers Excalibur and conceals it so that it cannot be easily recognized) and the Restraints of the Round Table(are thirteen restraints set upon King Arthur's weapons by the Knights of the Round Table).

'Wow That's a lot of skills to train, What other functions do you have system?' Yuki questioned the System.

[To answer your question, I have Status, Inventory, World Transfer, Shop and Gacha]

'I see… Is there by any chance a Starter kit for me?' Yuki pleaded.

[You will only receive it after you're done with the Tutorial Mode teehee~]

Hearing this Yuki couldn't help but sigh from this predicament but soon later accepted it. ' I guess I better start training then.'
