The Unexpected

The class is already finished. I was walking along this street back to my father's house. I didn't remember much of Seoul Korea because I was just a kid at that time but I think Korea is a very nice place like the USA.

I can hear footsteps like someone is running behind me.

"Hey!"

"Oh my God! I thought there was a stranger looking after me." I spoke in relief.

"Well sorry to disappoint you about having a stalker but that is only me." She laughed.

"Don't do that again."

"Okay, I won't do it again."

We both walked together and talked about some things that we liked both

"Aliyah, here's my house. Where are your house?" She asked.

"Just there, I need to pass the pedestrian lane." I told her.

"Then, I'll see you at school tomorrow. Go home safe okay?" She smiled and then waved goodbye.

"Bye!" I waved back and continued to walk.

After a minute of walking when suddenly there was a crash of cars was heard.

"Hey! Wake up! Help! Call the ambulance!" A man's voice was asking for help. I heard an ambulance getting nearer.

"She is still conscious. Wait, she had fainted! Quick, she had lost blood, we must go to the hospital."

At the Hospital...

"Hello sir?" the nurse said.

"Who's this? that's the number of my daughter." Dad asked.

"Uhm, your daughter was involved in a car accident she's in the hospital. You must come here, sir."

"What!? I'll go there. Is she in good condition?"

"Just go here sir immediately. Then we'll tell you the details."

Dads POV

I don't know how or why did my daughter involved in an accident, I don't know if she's alright. Wait, should I call her mom? I'm sure her mom will be mad at me.

(PHONE RINGING... NATHALIE)

"Hello Nath..." Dad answeres the phone call.

"Hello Daniel, how's our daughter?" Mom asked.

"Don't be nervous okay?"

"Nervous? For what?"

"She's here in the hospital the nurse called me and said that she was hit by a car on the road. The car has no brake so she was hit." Dad explained.

"Ohmygod! you said you'll take good care of her but what have you done! I'll go there as possible as I can ." Then the call ended.

The doctor came and ask dad a few questions. "Are you the father of Aliyah?"

"Yes, doctor. How's my daughter? Please tell me that she is fine." Dad said in such worried voice.

"I'm sorry, but the accident was too much for her too handle. Her head was damage and she's in a comma right now."

"What? Then there is still a chance that she might wake up right? Yes there is a chance right doctor?"

"It is only a miracle that can save her.. We will wait for her to be back on her conscious but we don't know when. We're really sorry sir." The doctor replied and goes away.

I don't know what to do. I didn't expect this to happen to my daughter. What have I done. Why did I didn't take care of her. What kind of father am I?

Moms POV

"I need to go to Korea as soon as possible sir my daughter was in the hospital I don't know if she's fine please let me take a leave until i found out that she is in a good condition." I asked my boss if I could fine a leave, thankfully he is considerate enough.

"Okay just file a leave." Sir Adam replied.

"Thank you for your kindness sir."

AT THE AIRPORT...

My phone rang and I answered it "Hello?"

"Nathalie" Daniel said.

"How's my girl? How's Aliyah?" I asked. I was really worried about my daughter. I hope she is fine.

"I will tell you everything when you got here okay?" Daniel replied.

After a few days of travelling from Texas to korea mom finally got here.

"Where's my daughter? Where is she!?" I said in a panicked voice.

"Calm down she's here, calm down now." Daniel told me.

"Oh sweetie, I'm sorry I'm not here for you I'm sorry." I was about to burst into tears when I saw my daughter. I touched her face and cried.

My POV

"Ouch my head" My head hurts for an unknown reason. I rub my head in confusion.

"Why am I here? Did I really slept here at the road?I can't remember anything, Oh! there are people! Hey ma'am may I ask you something?" I stood up and followed the girl but she did not seem to see me.

"Ma'am? Why don't they approach me they're so mean." Then I saw a car that was investigating by some policeman.

"Where's the victim here?" The policeman asked.

"At the hospital." Another policeman replied.

Suddenly I felt dizzy and I feel like I'm turning all around and then...

"Why did I get here!? I'm at the road a minute ago and then I am here at the hospital!? How did that happened!?" I got so confused and curious about how these things happened.

Dad's POV

(we go outside the room where Aliyah stays in the hospital)

"What will happen to our child Daniel??" Nathalie asked me while still crying from sadness.

"She'll be alright don't cry now." I hug her to assure her our daughter is fine and make her calm down.

"Honey!?" Katie shouted. She is my new wife. I remove my hands off Nathalie.

"Kate...Why are you here?" I asked her.

"Oh hi Nathalie I'm Kate the WIFE of Daniel. You just got here? And why do you hug my husband!?" she shouted loudly. Nathalie just silently standing where she is.

"Kate! I'm sorry Nathalie let me talk to her for a minute." Then Nathalie came back to where Aliyah is.

"Kate, I'm just comforting her okay!?" I said.

"Comforting? Daniel! You said you are here to look out for Aliyah! Not to flirt with that Nathalie!"

"I can't understand you now Kate." I have too many problems that I am just tired of arguments about things so I left Katie.

"Hey Daniel! Come back here were not yet finished! Come back!" Katie yelled
