The Lim Family (2)

"Wow! It's so delicious! I never know that you two are a great cook!" Hazel exclaimed as she enjoyed the lunch prepared by her father and her brother.

The table was filled with all her favorite foods, both Korean and British dishes. At the very beginning, she finds it a bit difficult to enjoy the foods there. But she became used to it as time went by. Luckily the Lim's were also originally Korean just like her, so they can enjoy several traditional Korean dishes together. After she lived with them, Korean foods became a must, whenever they had a meal.

"I entrusted the Korea Branch to you and I know that you will do a fantastic job just like before. But Haze, always remember what I used to tell you. Be careful all the time and know your limits. Don't push yourself too hard. Okay?" Father Lim said to Hazel in a gentle voice.

He knows very well why his daughter wished to return to that place. He also knew that he won't be able to stop her. So he want to help her the best he can. Hazel was strong enough to fight in her own but if she ever needed help, he will be a strong support for her. He will always have her back.

Hazel was already a 28 years old independent woman, but she was still a fragile girl who needs to be loved in his father's eye. But the real Hazel Lim was supposed to be 27 years old by that time, so she lived as a 27 years old woman as she was the real Hazel Lim for the world.

"Yes, Dad. I will remember." Hazel nodded her head with a small smile.

"If anything happens to you, call me and I will be there right away. As I said before, be extra careful in choosing people who you want to be associated with." Marcus said with a serious face. "I doubt it would happen. But if you want to make friends there, they can be your friends only if I approve them." He added.

Hazel burst out with laughter. Her older brother was so overprotective of her! She can't believe that Mark said such things. But she understands that they were worry about her. What if she do some crazy things as she was blinded by revenge? What if she hurt herself in the process? They were feared of losing her.

"Sure. Don't worry, brother." She reassured him.

Marcus Lim was always a caring brother since he was a kid. As their mother passed away when Hazel was only 7 years old, he was the one who looked after her as their father was busy building his empire. He, too, was only 9 years old at that time.

He doted on his little sister so much that his friends love to tease him. Even his subordinates in his company and his gang members were always in awe, whenever he was with his sister. People used to joked 'The easiest way to get on the good side of Marcus Lim is to pleased his little sister!'

He gave Hazel all the love he had for his real sister. Though they are not blood related, he treated her like one. The only weakness of this mafia boss was his sister!

Father Lim stared at his two children and he was so proud of them. Though they were both coined as ruthless and cold hearted when it comes to business; he was sure that they both were a good person. Though Marcus was the leader of the infamous gang organization, he knows his limit well and he never harm innocent people.

For Richard Lim, Hazel was not an ordinary daughter. She was a very special one. He thought of her as the gift his real daughter send to him. He was able to endure the loss of his real daughter only because of her.

Many used to thought that the great Richard Lim had no heart. Even if he had one, it will be made of stone. But when it comes to his children, he was the most affectionate dad ever. He loved them and cherished them more than anything else in the world.

Though his company was build up by his blood, sweat and tears; though he sacrificed all his youth for it; he prioritize his children over his company. They are his number one priority in his life.

"Will you go to work tomorrow? I heard that you will be having a meeting with the ambassador of Shine Group from the United States." Father Lim asked Marcus, who was busy filling the bowl for his sister.

"No. I already postponed it for next week. Tomorrow, I will be accompanying Hazel to Korea. I will returned after making sure that she settled there." Marcus replied thoughtlessly with a nonchalant expression.

Hazel was really surprised! Her brother didn't even tell her that he will be accompanying her. "What?! But...You didn't said it before. I only got two tickets for myself and my secretary!"

"Why bother about the tickets? We can ride my private plane. Besides I already cancelled your tickets." Marcus simply said with a teasing smile.

Hazel was caught off guard once again. She was so shocked that she almost choked her food! "Mark! How come you're so childish? You should atleast tell me beforehand. Did you try to embarrass me?"

Marcus laughed at his sister's funny reaction. He expected to see this reaction but it was much more than he thought to be!

Hazel sighed and thought to herself that it was her fault that she didn't think through this. Judging from her brother's overprotective character, she should atleast expect this to happen. How foolish of her!

"Fine. Come with me. Why won't you just stay with me at Korea?" She teased her childish brother. She was always the one who gave in but somehow his protective nature comforted her.

"If that's what you want, then I'll come and live with you. I will relocate our house and our company headquarters there." Marcus blurted out which made the whole family bursted out with laughter...
