His Favorites

"Here I am!" Aiden smiled at Hazel who was waiting for him at her company's garage.

It's 6 in the evening and it may be the first time Hazel didn't work overtime since she came to Korea.

Hazel glanced at her watch. "You keep me waiting for half an hour." She bluntly said.

"I didn't bring my car so that I can ride with you. Taking a taxi need quite a time." He explained. A smile never leave his face.

When he got a call and heard that she can have some time to meet him, he was so happy that he just keep on running to this place!

"You're so sly!" Hazel said. She crossed her arms and stared at him as if she was doubting him. The latter feels awkward due to her strong gaze!

"Hey! Don't look at me like that! We agreed to meet here at 6 and I reached on time. Why are you so early? Are you that eager to meet me?" He blurted out.

"Ha! Maybe in your dreams. Aren't you the one who came here running because you're so eager to meet me?!" She confronted him just like he did.

"Yes. I'm so excited that I didn't even realize I was running." He calmly said as he stared at her with you a loving smile.

Hazel was always caught off guard by this man's frankness. Why did he always blurted out whatever that is on his mind?! She keeps on staring at him in a blank expression.

"Let's go. We can talk on our way." Aiden led her to the car and open the car door for her.

--- --- ---

"Where are we going?" Hazel asked Aiden. They were already riding for ten minutes but she didn't even know what their location is.

"To have dinner." Aiden simply replied.

"People won't recognize me as the media will only report about me next week. But what about you? You are a public figure. When you came to my office that day, gossips were going on for the whole day; which gave me quite a headache." She said to him. Her voice were quite calm than just a moment ago.

Aiden chuckled at her words. "I know. My friend own a luxurious restaurant. We can have dinner at the private room of my friend's restaurant. Don't worry. I won't put you in the center of rumors. Apart from all, your name is quite big. You have a greater influence than me." He explained to her.

"Today will be quite memorable for me. For the first time, I got a call from you. Now we will be having our first dinner together." Aiden said with a smile. "Plus, I even saw your house." He added.

"You're quite childish than I thought." Hazel said. Her remark makes Aiden burst out into a laughter.

"You're really amazing! You're always so unpredictable. You know...I read some articles about you and you are quite famous for your unpredictable nature. I just witnessed that." He said. Then he stopped the car and tilted his head to her. "We're here."

--- --- ---

The two entered the luxurious restaurant and they were immediately led to the private room. Hazel's mind was still occupied by the things Aiden recently said to her. Unpredictable? When did she earned that label?

They entered a small yet beautiful room. There is a table and two chairs on one corner with an amazing view provide by the glass walls.

They sat and chat as they enjoyed their dinner. Aiden memorized all the favorite foods of Hazel that Marcus told him. Even this time, their table was filled with Hazel's favorites.

"These are all my favorite foods. What about you?" Hazel asked him.

"Your favorites are my favorites." Aiden simply replied. He looked at Hazel and noticed that she was staring at him with a strange look.

Aiden cleared his throat and adjust his sitting position. "I mean that I like all these foods. And after I know that they are your favorites, they've become mine as well." He explained.

A warm feeling occupied Hazel's heart as soon as she heard Aiden's words. For the past six years, her heart of ice was never warmed by anyone, except her family! Six years was such a long time that this warm feeling feels foreign to her. She didn't know how to deal with it!

"You said that you read articles about me. Apart from unpredictable, didn't you also read how ruthless I am?" She asked. Her voice was barely above whisper. Her eyes glued to the table as if she feels guilty.

"I always keeps myself away from the negativity. I am an optimist, Hazel." Aiden stared at her with a reassuring smile. His eyes were full of his love for her. His loving gaze brings a message that states that he didn't care what kind of person she is. He accepts her just the way she is!

Aiden read almost every article about her. So he will surely know her ruthlessness in the business world. But he was not shaken at all. He still love her for who she is!

"Besides even if you turn out to be a bad person, even if you belong to one of the most wanted criminals in the world; I will still like you." He declared. "After some days, when you read about me in a magazine; I hope you wouldn't hate me so much." He joked with a big smile. He was thinking of that interview with Pear Magazine.

"Why? Is there something to upset about?" She asked with a curious face. She has no idea at all.

"If I tell you now, the whole mood might be ruined." He said with a light laughter.

"Fine. I will be more patient than you thought." Hazel played along with his joke and the latter laugh along with him.

"Then I think it's time for me to tell you my story as I promised before." He said with a low yet serious voice.....
