Morgana didn't want Ethan to find out that while he sleeps there is an assassin at the honeymoon suite that they were in, obviously the assassin has been waiting for the right time to attack and kill them, what she didn't know is if the assassin is already there even before they arrived at the suite

If that was the case, then the assassin would have seen them while they are having sex. But if the killer is already there, then why did he not attack them during that time?
