The New Orders

"Now that I think of it, I forgot to ask for his name..."

Apollo watched the yellow dot distance itself from the base in the HQ's map as he reviewed the events that happened inside his head.

"Will Hime be able to track him down?"

"Of course, Master! But I fear she will probably be discovered once she gets close to their base."

"That's fine. I just want to know who we are dealing with."

(Considering the looks of that bastard, his Master should be a woman, or at least a man from the new world...)

Just like Hayate had jumped to conclusions seeing Apollo's servants, Apollo did the same while seeing him. Since the first servant was completely custom designed by the Master, it was natural that many peculiarities of their taste would be included on them. Of course there were exceptions like being too lazy to customize them or not caring at all, but in such cases the servants would usually have a bland look instead of a detailed one like the one seeing in Hayate's case.

It could be said that Hayate was designed with plenty of love, while caring about his smallest details like the shape of his eyes, chin, muscles and probably even the tool hidden inside his pants.

But knowing this made not much difference to Apollo, after all he wasn't looking for a dating partner, but a reliable ally, and as far as reliability goes, sex never mattered to him. Well, at least it could be said that the other Master was meticulous. A negligent Master would never have designed his/her servant with this level of details, and she had already mapped the whole island, if what the bastard said was true, so she probably could be relied on way more than Apollo's old school colleagues who left all the work to him.

Somehow remembering his old school days, Apollo frowned his face for a bit but soon relaxed it again.

"Those days are gone. They may have been a pain, but now that it's over, I can't help but miss a bit of them..."

"Master, what is missing?"

"Oh, nothing, I was just muttering to myself. Don't worry about it. Anyway, sorry but it seems like we will have to fight again pretty soon..."

"Don't worry, Master! You can leave everything to us! Just tell us what to do and we will sacrifice our own lives to accomplish it!"

Hearing how light Daisy took her own life, a feeling of anger burned deep inside Apollo's chest. He raised his hand and patted her had shaking his head at the same time.

"Never do that. Never sacrifice your life over any order of mine. Make sure that no matter what you come back alive to us. If you are dead... it's impossible to eat boar meat again. Wouldn't that be sad?"

"That would be terrifying!!!!"

Before Daisy could answer, Nyau let out a shout that echoed through the whole room.

"See? Then, no matter what, even if you fail, make sure you and everybody else come back alive. All right?"

"..."

Daisy didn't answer. It was unknown what was passing inside her head but her programming made it impossible for her to utter a lie to her Master, so all she could do was stay silent like most other girls who were hearing their talk.

"All right. We are not fighting to die, we are fighting to live!"

""Yeah!""

"Stop with the gloomy look and hype yourselves for the battle to come!"

""Yeah!""

"Let's show them what we can do! We are going to beat them all!"

""Yeah!""

"And after we are finished, we will get more and more friends!"

"Eh??"

"Yuu, we are going to the lab to make new friends. After they are born, they will follow your lead as new rangers so come with me as you will have to take care of them."

"Yes, Master!"

"Rose, organize the girls who don't have plant control skill and take turns receiving the update at the new facility. They may come in handy in the next fight, so we have to make sure every plant girl has access to it!"

"As you wish, Master!"

"Alyssa, tell the science team to focus on researches that will give us advantages in battle, like the Beast Form you mentioned before. Actually, if you can complete that research in one day, even if you have to use the whole team and pause the other projects, focus on that! This skill should give us a great boost in our battle power!"

"Master, you know that even if we finish on time it will only work on the girls who undergo an update, right?"

"I know. But I think we still have a few days..."

"What makes you think that?"

"If the battle was so imminent that we can't prepare for a few days that bastard would never had left here with a promise of coming back."

"What if he lied? What if he just wanted to run away?"

"Leilani, have you been able to find a way to use that odd metal from the cave?"

"Can you make new armors with it?"

Leilani nodded her head, but after that showed her hand with all five fingers sticking out.

"You can only make five per day?"

Leilani nodded again.

"Great! Have your team focus on that."

"Sir, what about us?"

"I know the other soldiers are not back yet, but I want you to start training fighting in formations."

"Eh!? That's boring!!!!"
