Chapter nine
How many more times did Jenny had to break down and cry from that one day. She hated that she couldn't talk to jacob anymore. She hated that she couldn't trust him anymore. They were suppose to be twins but he treated her as if she was a stranger in his life. Now she gave him what he wanted. He wanted to be strangers. He wanted to be twin less. However it couldn't help but cross in her mind questionable moments as to why he saved her.
The moment she saw her old friends, she couldn't help but regret it. Cleo stood there and not in a daydream. Alex stood there. The boy she fell for so long ago that she never really had the choice to tell him how she felt. Four years ago, she thought in her head and she cried every night when things were bad that she could just go back. She couldn't think about much. All she wanted to think about was the happy moments. Before lacy. Before she was slowly losing the one person who was suppose to be there. Out of everyone. The one person she came into the world with but now she couldn't.
Her heart ached just to give him a second chance. Her fingers twitched. Her eyes glossed with tears when she heard his voice. She couldn't though but she wanted to.
Jen looked up as she heard a knock at the door to see Alex standing there smiling at her. Alex looked at Jen like he did all those minutes he wished he could have her in his arms. Alex's eyes sparkled in a way when he looked towards Jen. It couldn't help that she's always had an effect on her anyways.
"Alex" Jen said bitting back a smile. Alex walked closer putting his hand closer to Jen's cheek. Jen's cheeks heated up like no tomorrow and smiled at Alex.
"I'm sorry Jenny" Alex said as he whispered in her ear.
"Sorry for what?"
"I'm sorry for leaving you. I'm sorry for not being there for you. I'm sorry for not trying to keep in touch with you. I'm sorry I left" Alex said as he whipped a tear that fell down Jenny's face.
"It's not your fault Alex"
"But I still left" he argued
"Alex you didn't have-"
"Jenny, not only did I leave but I didn't even get to say goodbye to you" Alex said
"I knew you would have come back" Jenny whispered.
"I've missed you so much" Jenny said pulling Alex closer. Crying into his jacket. Alex's heart ached as he heard Jenny's sobs.
"Jenny" he said rubbing her back "please don't cry"
"Alex"
"Jenny, I not only came back just because we were able to move back. I came back to tell you something else" Alex said
Jenny looked at him confused
"Jenny I want to be with you. I've lived four years away from you. Trying my hardest to stay away from you. Trying my hardest not to contact you because your brother gave me no choice. I've wanted nothing more in my whole life than to have you in it" Alex said
"But Alex you just got back. There's so much we don't know about each other anymore. Four years ago we were two totally different people" Jenny said
"That's what we can get to know each other again. So, Jenny will you please go out with me?" Alex said
"Yes" Jenny said
"I know this is not the right place to ask you to be my girlfriend but I couldn't wait." Alex said "plus I didn't want to have to end up seeing you with some random guy and regretting not asking you out already" he joked
Jenny smiled at him. Blushing from all that he's said.
