my eyes fluttered open. I look at my surroundings. they seemed like a blur. what...where am i?

i looked down to see the human. my eyes widened. I poked him to make sure he was alive.

"humph" he groaned in his sleep moving around he clutched on my sweater. sweater? I wasn't wearing a sweater. why is this so big? i furrowed my brows. as the shining light suddenly hit my eyes as i turned around. my eyes quickly adjusted to the light. it was so beautiful, the sunrise.

all the retired angels bragged about it but I never saw it.

it looked magnificent. In heaven it's always day so i had no idea how it looked like. The sunrise filled up the whole room. the human suddenly shifted grabbing my whole arm. i fell down onto the human.

he didn't seem to notice as he hugged me.

"unicorn," he murmured in his sleep pulling me into his chest.

my eyes widened. The human, he was so cold...i reached for the blanket on top of the couch. i grabbed it and and did my best putting it over the human before getting up. i picked the human up in my arms softly laying him down on the grey couch.

I softly played with his black hairs. i put my hand to his chest.

"you have a nice heartbeat." I smiled. i wish you can live well. tears escaped my eyes but I wiped them away. i didn't want for anyone to die really. my inner-angel couldn't handle it. Tears invaded my eyes as I looked at the peaceful human who was sleeping. i shut my eyes more tears escaping.

my wings came out they were golden i could feel myself shining. It was because i was praying with true tears. only a few angels had the power to make their wings shine because the gold was so pure and bright.

i could feel the angel of life upon me.

"death," she whispered.

i quickly ran to hug her.

"sister," i sobbed.

she ran her fingers through my hair she shined so bright it made my angel come out.

"what's the problem my dear?" she asked softly holding my face.

"can't you stop his death? or tell me why he's going to die? please don't let him die!" i held her hands.

"oh my dear, let me have a look I'll do the best i can possibly do." she spared a look at the human.

"his name is Kim Taehyung, he's, going through a lot i can sense trauma, and- he only has 49 days left to live?"

she furrowed her golden brows. as she took more steps towards the human who's name is Taehyung the clicking of her heels could be heard light followed her steps as shadows were turned to me.

"i can see capability, I could add 1 more year, but death, God's not letting me add it.." tears filled her eyes.

the bond between angels and humans are irreplaceable but since she is the guardian of life she is like another mother for humans. having her arms out accepting all of her children's into her warm embrace protecting them from the selfish devils who dare to ruin God's peaceful world and disturb his humans.

"why?" i asked.

"I, I don't know death." she looked at me golden tears escaping her eyes. her golden locks falling in front of her face.

"Life? can you at least add 10 more days? that much time is enough. I'll fix him he'll be alive and again!" I held her shoulders.

hope shone in her eyes.

"yes, yes i can do that. i can add up till 10 more days!"

she touched his heart. her eyes closed she was glowing i shut my eyes as i couldn't take it. my angel became weak and disappeared.

"Miss? Miss please wake up!?" the human screamed.

i eyes opened.

"please drink some water." he held out a glass of what i suppose is water. angels can't eat or drink... but why is my throat so...dry.

I quickly took the liquid gulping it down. i felt better.

"I… I have a headache." I touched my head.

he chuckled.

"of course you do, you were so drunk last night! come on eat noodles to get rid of your hangover." he signaled me to follow him. and when I did I saw what I think humans call a kitchen.

he pointed his finger to what looked like a bowl of... wait what is that? i looked at him.

"don't worry it's safe to eat from." He said while eating an... i don't even know what any of this is.

i titled my head.

"what's that?" i pointed at what he was eating.

"you're not still drunk are you?"

I quickly shook my head. but my head started hurting even more.

I saw patches of black everywhere. he quickly ran to my side.

"what happened?" he said holding my head.

"It hurts..." i let out a whisper.

"eat." he said holding the chopsticks to my lips. I can't disobey God.

"n-no."

"eat it!" he said getting a bit violent. I flinch.

"fuck it."i heard him whisper under his breath.

he quickly grabbed his coat and went outside.

i chased after the human but the pain in my head was killing me my legs started to get and before i knew it I fell.

-HUMAN KIM TAEHYUNG P.O.V-

after smoking I went back to my shitty apartment. i quickly threw my jacket at my grey couch.

"Listen- I am sor-" i said flipping my hair back. but i stopped way halfway as i saw her body on the floor. my hands started shaking.

I held her shoulders i put my shaky fingers to her neck to see if her heartbeat wasn't beating. tears were filled in my eyes. i put my ear to her stomach to hear if there really wasn't any movement.

please no. i quickly toke my phone out dialing the emergency number down with my shaky fingers.

"129 on the other line. how can i help you?" the lady spoke through the other line.

(129 is South Koreas medical emergency number)

"my...girlfriend fainted." I said not being able to think straight.

"we'll on our way just breathe ok." she said before loud typing was heard from the other line.

"her ID number or full name?"

shit.
