27. Her fate

Now she heavily stood up and Liu Me jumped to help her. But with a swift motion, Hua Lan made her sit in front of the abbot and smiled. ''Cold you predict the future for my little friend.''

He looked at Liu Mei's stunned face and almost laughed at the foxy expression on Hua Lan's face. She really came because of her.

''Then let's see.'' He looked at her face while she shook her head.

''I am sorry. But the future, I am not interested in it. '' Her words stunned the abbot.

She smiled and on her face, the painful expression could be seen. ''I want to be with my children but they are in the other world now. For me to pray for people of this county is the least I can do. I hope that I will earn some blessings for them to grow tall and happy.''

Two drops of tears feel down her cheeks while she sobbed. But he shook his head. ''The moment you were separated, they forgot about you. In their memories, you don't even exist anymore. So stop being bothersome as they can't continue their way if you stop them.''

She blinked. ''How do I stop them if they are in the other world?''

He scrunched his eyebrows. ''Clinging on your memory about them will make them lose their life energy as they are connected to you in this world. If you don't break the connection soon, they will get sick and die young. Is that really your wish?''

She got shocked. By now she read so many scriptures and she understood that some things really are connected together. ''What should I do? How should I help them?''

He took out a knife and scissors. ''Cut your hair, but you can choose just one of these things.''

Not even thinking about it, she took the knife and started shaving her own head, while Xiao Ran and Hua Lan jumped to stop her. But the old monk stopped them.

''Do you two really care about her or do you want her to die while praying? The connection to the other world is so strong, that it literally drains her life energy out of her bones. I don't know who put such a spell on her but the thing she needs to get rid of is her hair. After that, she will be able to live comfortably.'' He looked at how she cut her self multiple times and her blood flowed down, but she didn't even wince and just continued to cut until even the last strands of hair were gone.

Her eyes nervously picked up every little strand of her hair and with shaky hands, she put it on the table.

In his eyes was strange a shine, while he stared at her blood flowing down her face and her unsightly head. The most imposing is that aura around her and even with this kind of situation, she seemed to be peaceful.

''Will this help my children to survive?'' Her heart was beating almost in her ears. She was afraid. After seeing many weird things she knew that some things couldn't be a lie. For this monk to lie to her, there is no reason.

He nodded slightly. ''That is the first step. The next one is to have another child in this world. But looking at you now... sigh.'' He just shook his head.

She slumped. ''I really don't want to ever get married. Is there any other way? I really...''

In her eyes slowly entered hope as she saw him nodding. ''There is. You have to get a dragon's child and then you will be able to help them. But is that even possible?''

Her heart froze. ''So I have to get pregnant either way? What kind of strange world is this? I do not wish to get married or have dragon's, or wolf's, or tiger's children. I just want to pray, live a few more years and die. Is that so wrong?''

He chuckled. ''You think dying is so easy. With the connection between your children and you, there will be a big problem. You will be their mother again, but then they will die on you, and then in next reincarnation again. If you continue being stubborn, your children will die until eternity. What kind of mother are you to wish such a thing to your own blood? Do you hate them maybe?''

She paled and started shaking. For her children to die again and again. Of course, she wouldn't want that. ''Then tell me what to do. How should I help them have a good life?''

''Let go of the past and be a good mother in the future. The child you are predicted to have will soar in heavens and will help humans in this world live a happy life. Is that not what you are praying for? The moment he becomes existent, the rain will come and people will start living happily.''

She always wanted to have more children. In her heart, she knew that they will live good. The two boys. She was never really part of the family. Everyone she knew forgot about her and continued their life.

Her face became calm and she nodded. '' I will do all to help my children, this country and the people here. If I can do that only by having a child, I don't care. Where can I find dragons? Wait, is it even possible, I mean physically.''

The monk was about to drink some tea when he heard her confused question. While she blinked at him with her big eyes, he tried to stop himself not to start laughing. ''In this world dragons are in human form, so such things should not be hard.'' But the next question almost made him faint of pressure, as he tried to stop himself.

''Elder, if I will mate with the dragon, will I lay eggs or get a dragon baby. How will I even give birth to such a thing?'' She seriously asked him while his face became red and she could hear coughing from all sides.

She turned her head and everyone had red faces so she felt ashamed. Talking about such a thing openly. ''I am sorry. I crossed the propriety border. My question was too much. So sorry.'' She started bowing deeply as she was really ashamed.

He just stopped her. ''Stop. The things will come as they are. Just accept them. Even if its an egg, or dragon or anything else. Love it completely. Then the boundary will break and you and those children will be able to live a long life. Now let's see. The best day for you to make a baby is in two weeks. If this heat continues, many people will really die. You must hurry.''

Her face paled. ''In two weeks. Where should I find a dragon so fast? Do you know the exact position?''

He shook his head. ''I can't tell you as he needs to find you. You can't go around and search for him as you might miss him. Sit at home and don't go anywhere. He will come for you soon.''

She nodded with her head and saw that her session is over as he started praying his sutras. As she stood up she felt dizzy and fainted...
