Still, I need a beta reader. *sigh*

Someone commented Athena also being the goddess of young women, virgins, and midwives. That is all true but I don't think it would be useful in the long run. If anything the only Domain she would get from that is 'young women' due to being one.

Doing some research I found out that MANY of the Mesopotamian God and goddess cross with the Hindu's so I just combined them to save time.

Anyways on with the Story!!

Awakening I realized that it was still dark.

"Athena! Artemis! Are you there?" I yelled a bit scared. I sat up and looked around. It was pitch black, completely different from the blinding light that-

Out of nowhere, a bright light flashed and I was somewhere else. looking behind me I saw that I was at the entrance of a village, it was much too small to be called a city compared to what I know. Uruk.

I sensed it, almost like I have been here before. The name echoed on my mind. It was painful. I kneeled and held my head as if to keep my head from falling apart. Suddenly there were flashes of memory. Memories that didn't belong to me.

I didn't know how long I was on the floor, but when I got up everything felt different. It was as if I grew up here. I can tell exactly where everything was. It was baffling to me, the journey of this man. The things that he went through. It was saddening but also filled with joy.

"Come." A female voice said

"Come to the temple." A Male voice followed up.

Without a moment of hesitation, I walked towards the temple. It was hard to miss. It was in the direct center of the village. It was magnificent. The entrance pointed to the east towards the sun. This to show respect to Shamash, the God of the sun. It was tall, almost four stories. That's an amazing feat, I mean compared to the way the houses looked coming in.

As I entered the building I saw to figures there. A man who looks to be in his 20's sitting on a throne. He had beautiful golden hair and blue eyes. His eyes were so clear it was if you were looking at the deep blue sea.

The woman was breathtaking. Her flawless tanned skin that made her look as if she was a picture come to life. Her curly dark hair made her look ethereal. Looking at her made me question if I really should be considered a girl with how I look.

"Welcome to my temple, young warrior." Said the man sitting on the throne. "I am Gigamesh, and this is my wife Ishtar." The woman simply nodded at me.

"Why am I here?" I asked

"You are here because I willed it." He said with a hint of pride in his voice.

"You remind me of myself. Young and gifted with great power" He said with a frown.

"Growing up I abused my power without caring for anyone else around me, and for that, I lost my best friend." he said as his wife went to comfort him.

"I simply came to give you my blessings. Rules or no rules I refuse to let you wander the world without the proper preparations. But it appears that I didn't need to do that."

"Just as you have seen my memories I have seen your's you have been thought much betrayals even as young as you are. Even still you continue on the path of good." he said as a weak smile began to form on his lips. Thinking about his memories I can see why.

"Sadly to say that I am not good like most of the others you will meet so I cannot help you gain another domain. So I will give you two blessings of mine." he said as he gestures me to approach him.

As I approached he towered over me then said: "I Gilgamesh the first king bestow you, Talyor Hebert the right of ownership of the Gate of Babylon." After he said this I felt as if I was on cloud 9

It lasted only for a minute before he stepped to the left and said: "Take a seat." While pointing at the throne. From looking at his memory I knew what it meant. It meant that he was naming me his successor. His second blessing.

I was shocked. "I can't accept this." I said to him.

"Worry not Taylor. In the future, I believe you will achieve great things. Things that would make even mine look petty in comparison. Things that would make you a great queen." he said. I looked at him knowing he could see possible futures.

He then put his hand on my right shoulder and nodded. I slowly walked to the throne a bit hesitant. Before I sat I looked back at the two holding each other tightly and gazing at each other lovingly.

Then I sat.
