Rewards

Holding the piece of crystal in his hands, Chen Yu didn't have much of the feeling to say, suddenly getting a strange description for a ordinary crystal that doesn't seem any kind of Treasure is bit odd and very surprising as well.

After sometime he began to ponder could this be the reason why Qing Luo experienced the change. As he was scanning the crystal from the angles he received a notification from System,

"Ding, Host has completed First Mission... Rewards for completion has be uploaded..,

Chen Yu froze for a second, this was unexpected but, on other hand it seems fair that mission ended as he supposed to find the reason behind the rapid breakthrough of Qing Luo and this Paragon God Medallion fits the bill.

Since his mission was completed he decided to leave the Hut, before anyone notices him. The Crystal was no doubt a treasure but since Qing Luo has his sights set on this so leaving it here is a rational decision.

Following the same path he returned to his quarter, to be honest Chen Yu was somewhat let down with abrupt end of Mission, but guess that's for good as well. As he proceeded to his bed, Chen Yu remembered that System has given him rewards.

The white screen panel once again appered detailing his Rewards,

Mission : To get intelligence about rapid breakthrough of Qing Luo.

Rewards : 500 Experience Points, 300 Spying Points, Unlocked 1st Innate System Ability, Unlocked Basic Function of Scanning, Random Tier Cultivation Technique.

"Woah..", marveled Chen Yu as he saw the rewards, further details were given just below,

Spying Points : System's own currency, can be used to upgrade Cultivation Techniques, Weapons, Innate System Abilities etc., alongside with this it can also be used by items from System Shop.

Experience Points : They are used to increase Host's Cultivation Layer.

Innate System Ability : Abilities provided by system to host without any connections to Cultivation.

First Unlocked Innate System Ability : Shadowless Steps. Using this Ability host can run and hide like a shadow, without making a sound and disturbance. Can be Upgraded.

Basic Scanning Function : A basic function which can tell information about an object within it's level. Can be Upgraded.

Random Tier Cultivation Technique : A random chosen Cultivation Technique by system provided to Host.

After reading, Chen Yu was able to figure out many things about System and out of all rewards he was particularly interested in Innate System Ability and Random Tier Cultivation Technique.

Both of them came as a surprise for him, Shadowless Steps was basically a Camouflage Technique and something which was much needed by Chen Yu. As a Spy, one must blend in his or her surroundings and this Camouflage Technique can help Chen Yu achieving this and as for Cultivation Technique,

"System, What are tiers from which I can get this particular Cultivation Technique...",

"Ding, Host will be able to get it from all know tiers to Cultivation World..",

"Then...go on..", said Chen Yu.

"Ding, start the process of Randomly Choosing Cultivation Technique..",

This was clearly a overpowered Cultivation Technique and Chen Yu had no doubt that this Technique is more to what System has shown.

Overcoming his joy, Chen Yu realized that to learn this Cultivation Technique he must have to reach Spirit Refining Realm and to gather Spirit Qi in his Diatian to Cultivate anything.

Essentially, Body Tempering Realm Cultivator uses brute strength and Spirit Refining Realm Cultivator uses Techniques with the help of Spirit Qi.

When he voiced out his concerns to System, he got simple, yet brutal answer,

"Ding, then System advises Host to increase his Cultivation level...",

Chen Yu felt bitter taste in his mouth, it was like your favorite dish was served to you, but can't eat because your appetite is not big enough. In other words, he truly can't learn this Cultivation Technique untill he breakthrough to Spirit Refining Realm.

The Cultivation Technique which he got were only had first two forms and according to System, the other four forms were sealed due to their complications and his low authority over System.
